Have you ever experienced a moment in your life where it feels like all hope is lost? Are you in that situation right now? We learned that the book of Joel describes how Israel faced a series of challenges. God used natural disasters and enemies to awaken the hearts of His people and call them back to Him. Joel stresses that there is always hope if one seeks the Lord. This book looks back at God's judgment upon Israel for their sins and forward to a glorious future when they will reap God's blessings. Joel's message is also relevant to us. We live in a nation that is currently under judgment. As we observe our nation and our circle of influence, we may wonder if there is any hope left for the future. We may even question if there is any possibility of a revival. Yet, there is hope! If we are going to see the revival we need, we are going to have to change our ways. We are going to have to get back to God. Every promise that God has made concerning our lives will be fulfilled. Our future will be better than our past!

How do you measure greatness? The concept of greatness is often viewed through the lens of material success, such as wealth, possessions, or accomplishments. However, true greatness is not measured by these factors alone. Rather, a more meaningful perspective views greatness as a representation of one's character and the way in which they conduct themselves in life. David, a young man who had emerged victorious in his first battle and had to deal with a bitter King Saul, exemplifies this principle. His life presents an opportunity to reflect on the nature of true greatness and how it can be attained. It is imperative to recognize that true greatness is not solely determined by the tangible achievements one may accumulate. Instead, it is how one lives their life, with honor and integrity, that constitutes true greatness. David serves as a model for this notion, providing a blueprint for how one can achieve true greatness in their own life. With God, He can take someone who has been disregarded and make them into someone great.

God is searching for a person who possesses the courage, fearlessness, and determination to construct a wall. This wall is intended to protect a generation that is being lost and corrupted by society, and failing to live up to God's glory. The Lord is seeking someone who can build it because He is not pleased with the current situation. Israel becomes impure, weakened by mingling with the world. God is the refiner, purifying them and shaping them in His image. They face God's judgment. We too can become weakened by the world's impurities, but our sins have been forgiven through Christ. Trials refine us to be more like God. When God is coming forth against a sinful people to bring judgment upon them He expects some to intercede for them and enquires if there be but one that does, so much is it His desire and delight to show mercy. If there is but one person that stands in the gap, He will discover them and be well pleased with them. Are you the one that can build?

Grace will reach you no matter where you are and transform your life. Nothing is too difficult for God. In today's message, we learned how God speaks to Jerusalem who has turned away from Him. He reminds them of His immense love and all the great things He has done for them. He expresses His grace towards them by recalling how He found them when they were nothing, abandoned, and left to die. Through His love, He raised them up, cleaned them, and blessed them. He changed their future. You will not die regardless of the condition or circumstance you find yourself in, you will live! This serves as a reminder that each of us who are saved have also been lifted up by the grace of God. You are what you are by the grace of God!

Are you truly relying on the Lord? Have you put your trust in Jesus for your salvation? Are you following Jesus as your Lord? Through our afflictions, we may learn not to rely on people, but rather only on God, returning to Him in truth and not merely pretending. While the Lord may justly bring destruction on a disobedient people, He is also merciful and sets limits to His punishment. It is against God's will for His people to give in to fear, no matter what happens. His anger towards His people is only temporary, and once it has passed, we need not fear the wrath of man. The rod with which He disciplined His people will not only be set aside but also destroyed. To encourage God's people, the prophet Isaiah reminds us of what God had done in the past to their enemies. We are the remnant, a faithful people, who will not yield to the enemy. We shall emerge victorious! Rest assured that God's promises will come to pass.

Life can be full of suffering, tears, and brokenness. The enemy is cunning and will do everything to hinder your progress. In today's message, we learned that being humble and submitting to God is crucial. When we trust in His grace and goodness it can help us overcome adversity. By casting all our worries upon God, we can be confident that everything will be good. Believing in God's will and leaving everything in His hands brings peace and calmness. Satan's sole purpose is to consume and destroy souls. He is always devising ways to lure others to eternal destruction. We must remain vigilant against his spiritual threats, resisting his designs, and remaining steadfast in our faith. This faith secures our souls on the promises of God. Whenever Satan attacks us in any form or way, we can rest assured that God will establish, strengthen, and settle us. We are victorious!

Have you ever felt broken? Do you feel like everything has been lost? Let me encourage you that there's nothing too broken beyond repair. God specializes in putting shattered pieces back together. Even when it seems like time has been lost and everything has been destroyed, God is still bringing restoration and is multiplying the harvest. We can learn from Joel, where the land was ravaged by locusts and the people experienced ruin. But in the midst of their suffering, God extended an invitation and promised to take pity on his people. He sent them grain, new wine, and oil, protected them, took away their fear, and most importantly, repaid what the locusts had eaten. When you deepen your relationship with Him everything changes. So if you're feeling broken or lost, remember that God can bring restoration and turn things around for your good.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you feel like you’re just barely getting by? It's important to remember that God has a special plan for each of us that is beyond our imagination. His plan is extraordinary, and it’s not meant to be ordinary or normal. Just like Gideon, who went from being a timid young man to a mighty warrior leading Israel to victory, God has a unique calling for each of us. When we answer His call, we need to be aware that we may not fit in with the crowd because we are set apart. God will often place us in uncomfortable situations to shift us towards our purpose. During these transitions, it's important to remain steadfast and not trust our feelings, as our self-worth is not based on our emotions. God will open doors for us to move forward, and sometimes those doors will be leaps instead of steps!

Have you ever experienced a season in your life where you struggle to find the words to describe what has happened? Maybe you've faced sudden loss, pain, problems in your relationships, or wished that God had handled things differently. Do you feel like you're "dead" in certain areas of your life? In these moments, we can find comfort in the fact that Jesus is with us, even in our darkest moments. He reminds us that if we have faith, nothing is impossible. Even when faced with grief and loss, we can hold on to our faith and trust that God is still in control. In the story of Martha and her brother Lazarus, we see an example of indomitable faith. Even though Lazarus had died and been buried, Martha still believed that God could do the impossible. Sometimes the miracle we're looking for doesn't happen, but we can trust that God is still at work and that this moment will ultimately lead to a greater blessing that sill surpass our understanding.

Do you feel exhausted from the constant attacks of the enemy on your family, health, and mind? It's time to take a stand, get serious, and expose the enemy's evil doings to close the door on his influence once and for all. Perhaps, the attacks are happening because there's an entry point that has yet to be addressed. To resist the devil, we must first submit to God by breaking every agreement with the enemy and aligning ourselves completely with Him. Closing the doors will take away every right the enemy has gained to our lives and shut every point of access.

Whether it entails removing certain things, returning to God's will, reviving our dedication or other means. Bear in mind that God is always present. Let's pledge to abandon any obstacles hindering our spiritual growth and earnestly strive to attain closeness with the Lord. Do whatever it takes!

We all have our own personal boundaries that we use to protect ourselves from others. There may be certain information that we choose to keep private or relationships we never invest into. At times, we may even put up walls to keep God out. Unfortunately, when the enemy continues to attack us, we start believing their lies and build our walls even higher. These barriers can limit blessings that are meant for others, hindering them from accessing them. When we focus too much on protecting ourselves, we prevent them from reaching their promise. God wants our walls to fall because blessings await those who come after us, blessings that we can help unlock through our obedience. Have you kept your walls up for too long? What is holding you back? Remember, God can break any stronghold, so bravely confront any barriers in your way.
