To prepare for today's Luau at , the Dolphin group made their own leis. They cut out flowers and then laced then, alternating with pieces of straws to divide the flowers. The children can't wait to wear them today for the luau!

While learning about air, the Green 1 children had fun using their own air to blow a ball down a track!

The 2023-2024 school year was one for the record books! Each class had a special celebration with their families to mark the end of the school year.

Some of our Green 1 friends came to school for a special "Pirate Party" playdate with their teachers! The dressed up as pirates, played games and even went on a treasure hunt!

The best way to learn a new skill is to practice it! The Green 2 children practice making patterns in many different ways using many different materials.

As we begin our last week of the 2023-2024 school year, the Red 1 kids are getting ready for all things summer!

There are so many creative ways to practice spelling your name! Green 1 used different jewels to cover the letters of their name. They practiced their by squeezing the glue and pinching the jewels to add to their paper.

For their final monthly self-portrait of the year, the Green 2 children used fabric to add clothes. Each child chose the clothing and material to complete their look.

During Music class we all got a turn to play the keyboard🎼🎹. It was even more fun to play with a partner!

The Pre-K children have learned different dances from around the world during their weekly Folk Dance class with Ms. Peggy. Yesterday they performed the dances for the other classes.

On this warm Spring day, we are thinking about our field trips to Carl Schurz Park to release our butterflies.

Green 2 voted on what they wanted to learn about and they are now doing a mini unit on the ocean and sea life!

Red 1 recently completed a unit on shapes. The teachers created activities for a multidisciplinary approach to identifying the different shapes.

The dramatic play area has been transformed into a pet store with the important message to "Adopt don't shop."

As part of a broader unit on , Green 1 planted beans. Throughout the day the children can explore on their own at the science table.

The Red 1 children are busy painting flowers! The teachers offer a variety of paintbrushes and options for painting so each child is able to work on strengthening their .

Our Creative Movement program enhances the mind and the body connections through creative dance, rhythm, yoga, and so much more!

As part of a broader unit, the 3s and 4/5s classes invited parents and special guests to read to the class. This strengthens the and is an exciting opportunity for the children.
