Thankful for experiential learning opportunities in NYC!
Deep learning this week with participants at the STAR (Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience) training.
This training is made possible by a partnership between Brooklyn Peace Center and Radical Living, the Groundswell Group (Bronx), and Manhattan Mennonite Fellowship, as well as Eastern Mennonite University.
And it is enriched by participants from various communities and peace agencies throughout NYC (including New York Mennonite Immigration Program, Union Theological Seminary, The Bowery Mission, Calvary Fellowship A.M.E Church, and Mennonite Central Committee - MCC!
MMF participated in the Q***r Liberation March on Sunday! It was a beautiful, joyful time, particularly in contrast to all that is happening in this world these day.
