We got salami, ham, mortadella, provolone, the good fresh mozz, our homemade spicy olive salad, and sesame seed crust on this thing! You know we put that good Sicilian oregano on there too! For best results order a slice combo with draft root beer!

We got a case of fresh Hatch Green Chili’s in and roasted them up for you all! They turned out amazing and very spicy🥵! We combined their power of 🌶🔥 with the power of beef, bacon, and cheese to become this weekends special pie and maybe our newest yearly tradition😈⁉️🔮

Our HATCH GREEN CHILI BACON CHEESEBURGER PIE starts with a sesame seeded crust topped with fresh roasted Hatch Green Chili, beef we ground with 15% bacon, Hatch Green Chili and Pepperjack cheese sauce, fresh and aged mozz, and some more bacon on top.

As we continue to explore the world’s most illegal pizza styles, today we bring you a CPK style BBQ Chicken Pie. Made with hickory charcoal smoked chicken thighs, fresh & aged mozz, cooper sharp (for extra melty/trashy), sticky BBQ sauce, red onion, and cilantro. This slice is sticky/smokey/sweet/spicy to the max and super satisfying.

This one is for all the CPK freaks and mall pizza kids! Come through Sunday 6/19 or Monday 6/20 for a slice! Don’t tell the Italian Food Cops!🙏🥸

Regular or Cheese Pizza?

In honor of the passing of NYC’s most legendary and influential pizza man, todays special slice is our homage to the original on Avenue J.

I’ll never forget watching Dom methodically top and bake his pies, turning them in the oven with his bare hands, checking that the crust and bottom of the pie was cooked just right. All the details you heard about where there… the man himself making every pie alone, his daughter Maggie at the counter taking your order on a yellow legal pad, the mounted hand grater for slicing his cheeses to order, the copious amounts of olive oil, and of course the scissor cut pile of fresh basil finishing every pie.

I will remember his Sicilian pies the most as I had never seen anything like it at that time. Coming out of the oven steaming and with olive oil bubbling from the sides of the black pan, it looked like he had jammed two pizzas worth of everything on a single slice. It was the pizza you knew and loved but times 100—with more of everything.

Every slice was a celebration. A over the top blend of the old and the new. Somehow simple yet complex. Dom’s dedication to his craft and the pizza he made had all the things that make the Italian American spirit and food so special. His legend will live on forever.

“One of my favorite late pandemic rituals involves cycling over to a pizzeria on Fridays, picking up a few slices with a coffee, and finding an outdoor picnic bench to bask in the sun for an hour or so. This is precisely how I unwound a few days ago at Corner Slice at Gotham West Market, where I also managed to sample the excellent buffalo chicken pizza ($5). Tomato slices, packed with bright acid and earthy umami, are usually my preferred lunch as they don’t weigh me down too much, but this poultry-studded affair is nimble enough even for a hot day. The tangy, saucy chicken balances out the rich mozzarella, while scallions add a bit of allium freshness.
