Connect Program has finished and we wanted to share how things went! Check out this sneak peek into the highlights and feedback from each of the main stages of our program process.
Weeks 5 & 6: the sincere transformation stage.
🔸Participants focus shifts from trying to force their opinions upon the rest of the group to trying to understand others’ perspectives.
🔸Facilitators note that participants are using new communication techniques each session and every participant is actively engaged in discussions now.
Weeks 7 & 8: the forward-looking brainstorming and activation stage.
🔸Participants begin brainstorming how this experience, and things learned as a group, could be utilized and transferred outside the program context.
🔸Facilitators create the space for expressing final reflections and enable concrete thinking about the steps going forward.
In the final weeks, participants reflect on the impact of the discussions, the experiences shared in session, and the relationships they've built. Participants apply what they've learned in the Connect Program with their broader communities through their final projects.
