Today is Day 11 of our 21 Day Fasting & Praying at PCC. Officially past the half way point. If you haven't had a chance to come, there is still time. 7pm, Monday through Saturday. Sunday prayer time begins at 11am. Also, this Sunday, January 14th, is a First Fruit and Key Blessing Service! Look forward to seeing you all.
God Bless!
Our pastors, Pastor Marc and Pastor E send CHRISTmas Blessings to all...
As I reflect on the joyous celebration of 70 years as a church. All I can think about is the legacy that was started many years ago. Often as young people it’s hard to think about weeks into the future, so thinking years or even decades down the line may seem like a stretch, but the legacy that was started many years ago has ripple effects that directly impact our ministry today.
So as we continue to grow in the plan that God has for us, let us remember and be thankful for what He has done, but also create our own positive ripples that will influence those around us into a relationship with God.
-Minister Lavone
This past Friday we started our new theme of being Real Influencers. As we reflect on Minister Jaime’s teaching, the purpose and possibilities of Salt and Light, let us think about who has influence over our lives and whose lives we influence.
Celebrating 70 years. Thankful that PCC gives us a home to grow in from generation to generation.
Honoring our Warrior Pastors today, especially Senior Pastor Marc Rivera and Executive Pastor Enid Rios Rivera. Destiny Youth Ministries loves you and appreciates all you do for us.
We continued our Identity Theme this past Friday under a discussion titled The World is Calling. When the World tries to dictate who we are through the Lust of the Flesh, Lust of the Eyes, and the Pride of Life we have to walk in Obedience to God to hold onto and fulfill the purpose that God has for us.
Pastor Marc then spoke on Sunday about Navigating the Difficult Mountains of Life, shining light on the Obedience of Abraham in his willingness to sacrifice his beloved son.
Obedience to God, in the good times and the bad, is a key element of our faith walk so I encourage you all to choose obedience daily in whatever God ask you to do today.
Blessings!
Yesterday at PCC we heard a powerful message on "All May Approach".
Sometimes we may feel like we can't come to God, either because of something that has happened to us or decisions we ourselves have made, thankfully God always longs to spend time with us.
Our challenge for this week is no matter how you are feeling, how tired you may be, how far you may think you are from God, commit to spending at least ten minutes with God per day and allow God to meet you where you are.
Blessings,
Min. Lavone
