Hello everyone -important benefit - One of our very own -Rangers Players - Jimmy Chambers!!!
Can you please save the date. On Sunday, March 3rd please come out and help support this benefit for James Chambers. Currently, Jimmy is undergoing treatment and is sadly paralyzed from the waist down! The mounting medical expenses are wearing on the families finances!! Every little bit will help!! Please dig deep and with your whole heart as you consider donating to this amazing man and his family!! Jimmy fell down the stairs while doing laundry and is paralyzed from the neck down. Jimmy is a fellow Ranger and deserves our heartfelt support at this time!
James or Jimmy as he is fondly known by many, played with the Rangers all the way up through to the Senior level! Jimmy and his fellow Rangers teammates won several championship medals. Jimmy’s beloved sisters as many of you well know; are Margaret Kelly and Clare Mc Cartney; these two ladies are big time involved with Rangers.
Folks would you believe that the original Jimmy Chambers, the father of Clare, Margaret and Jimmy was one of the founding members of our Rangers Club. The Chambers family is the Rangers family!
If you can't make the benefit this coming Sunday, there are also $100 raffle tickets for big Cash prizes If you would like to buy one. Please contact Denis Twomey at 347-680-0380!!!

Rest In Peace.
The New York GAA community are deeply saddened by news that our great friend, and outstanding Gael, has been called to his eternal rest.
Danny Doohan was a kind, generous, passionate, and honest man. He provided help to anyone who asked. Danny gave a safe haven for so many young Irish on arrival to New York. If you needed a place to stay, work, or played a bit of football (this always helped) make your way to Ned Devine’s and look for Danny. He helped out all the clubs in New York. If they needed a few dollars for a set of tops look no further than Danny.
Locally Danny was a huge community man, the GAA was his community. He never failed to attend Gaelic Park and as his said in an interview if he not in the park something is wrong.
Danny will be sorely missed by those of us who called him a friend.
We offer our deepest, heartfelt, sincere condolences to his family; his wife Sheila, daughters Fiona and Danielle. Son in laws Rob and John, his beloved grandchildren, Hailey, Ciara, Rob Jr, and Olivia, Also his brothers sisters and all his extended family.
Rest In Peace Danny. Until we meet again.
