This is a real special one here folks, one the very rarest records ever to grace our doors. It's a 1963 silk screen cover by Andy Warhol that was produced on the occasion of the "Popular Image" exhibition at the Washington Gallery of Modrrn Art April-June 1963. In all there were 5 different colors made with 75 copies done of each. According to the catalog raisonné posted above only 75 total had records included with them with rest remaing empty. The rest of the pressing run were packaged in a separate printed Jim Dine designed cover which is in itself quite rare. This is considered his first ever pop art record cover and one of his first pop art pieces in general. The record has no scratches but shows signs of nearly 60 years in a tattered inner sleeve. The cover has overall wear as shown and two seams completely split so it's basically a folder at this point. Please read the catalog page posted above for a deeper historical perspective on what they describe as an "almost mythic piece" As a matter of comparison a nicer condition copy of this recently sold in Sweden for $24,000. A gorgeous copy of this scarce Blue Note widely considered his best late era work. Cover and record look almost new! The record looks seldom played and has no scratches or scuffs. The cover retains it's full gloss and is really beautiful with just a very slight corner bump

Original flat edge first press of this Blue Note debut for Jutta Hipp. The record has no scratches and only a very faint scuff. It does have foxing from years stored in a low quality inner sleeve and plays with some light background noise. The cover has some moisture stains and edge wear and about a 1" seam split lower right edge. Overall a nice copy. $1200 DM to claim free shipping in US

The record has seen a lot of wear and plays with consistent background noise with some loud pops and a few repetitive tics. The music is loud and clear though and still enjoyable. Super clean copy of one of the rarest Pretige titles of all. Cover and record look brand new and seldom handled EXCEPT for one stray scratch on Beats Up which sounds with varying degrees of loudness for about a minute and a half. Priced accordingly $2500. Free shipping in US DM to claim

Beautiful first press copy of one of the most iconic of all Blue Note titles. The record is very clean with just a couple of faint wispy marks that do not affect play, sounds wonderful!. The cover is also in beautiful shape with the only flaw being some browning along the lower left front cover which is actually very exaggerated in this photo (cell phone camera!).
