Very happy that "Your Honor" the series starring Bryan Cranston, and featuring my former student SOFIA BLACK D'ELIA is now available on NETFLIX. Cranston stars as a respected judge whose son Adam (Hunter Doohan) is involved in a hit-and-run that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices. Black-D’Elia portrays Frannie, Adam’s girlfriend.

Cheering former student Caitlin Kinnunen in "Choice," a new play by Winnie Holtzman at the McCarter Theatre. I've been a fan of Holtzman, ("The Wiz,") since her TV writing for "My So Called Life," (has anyone captured teen angst better?) so delighted to see this fine play, with the supremely talented Caitlin. Wishing this an extended future!!

I am so saddened to report that my dear colleague and former teacher Gary Ramsey has died. Gary taught over many summers in my ACTeen conservatory and he was a prince! Gracious, funny, unflappable, always positive. Gary could bond the most eclectic group of young actors, whether in his Alexander Technique or voice and speech classes. We all loved him, and we all loved listening to his sonorous voice. I happened to run into Gary this spring, in NYC, before one of his movement classes. He was as enthusiastic and charming as ever. I knew of his health battles, thought him courageous and hoped he was invincible. His final live streams were life affirming, and brave. Now he can teach God's children how to find "a place in the choir"! With love...

Kudos to former staff teacher Miriam Silverman, winner of the 2023 Drama Desk Award for "Outstanding Featured Performance in a Play" for her role in "The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window." Ten years ago Miriam was nominated for another Drama Desk Award for "Finks." Miriam was an incredible Speech/Voice/Dialects teacher for me during many summer conservatories. I've always thought I found the very best instructors and Miriam was no exception. I saw her brilliant acting performance in "Finks" and know she is a standout in "Sidney." Miriam is also nominated for a Tony Award for her performance. I will be rooting for her on Sunday!!

Loved seeing alum Sofia Black-D'Elia starring in "Single Drunk Female" season 2!! She is just sooo great! Now on Freeform, and Hulu!!

Wish I could see alum Dante Alexander, starring as "William" in "The Lobby Hero" at Florida Rep. Very proud of Dante's recent streak of great plays at prestigious theaters!

Woo Hoo! I'm going back into the studio beginning this Spring! Really looking forward to teaching 'live'! For those from afar, or still wanting online courses, I will also have a Zoom section, And I'm offering privates online or in NYC. Hope to see you all this SPRING!!

Exorcist 2023 has a new pastor!! Ready for a thrill? Raphael Sbarge joins cast mates Ellen Burstyn (of the original cast), Ann Dowd, Leslie Odom Jr. ( "Hamilton") and others in this classic horror remake, anticipated this fall!! I taught Raphael very briefly in his late teens, right before he booked the lead in a CBS sitcom "Better Days." Raphael hasn't stopped working since, tv, features, theater, and making his own films!! Congrats Raphael!!
