All political candidates, above all others, should be fact checked, because their premises and decisions affect the lives of everyone in our country. This is especially true for Trump, who has an enormous history of making up his own version of the "Truth". He is a compulsive liar. This is not meant to be a criticism; just an observation of who he is and who he has been. Ask anyone who has done work for him and not gotten paid. Look at the analysis of his falsehoods during his last administration. Look at his relationship with Putin and Communist Russia during his campaign, presidency, and afterward, during Putin's attack on Ukraine. His admiration of Putin for that attack was a lie about his allegiance to Democracy and the United States of America, and its allies. The war has contributed greatly to our current inflation.

Bearing false witness is contradictory to one of the Ten Commandments, echoed not only in the Bible, but in the moral codes of most religions of the world.
