The choice is imperfect but clear. Make no mistake that I am enraged by the failure of the current administration and Kamala Harris' response to the humanitarian atrocities in Gaza this past year. But there is too much on the line on other fronts, and I'll be headed to the polls to vote early this weekend. If you're a New Yorker, we love as a resource and will be voting YES to Prop 1, and NO to 2-6.

It doesn't take much for us to get in the Halloween spirit over here at the L&V studio but a spooky playlist NEVER hurts to help get the mood just right! For the 3rd year in a row, has put together some of her favorite macabre jams, new and old. For your terrifying listening pleasure: SPELLBOUND.

When your client is an AuDHD coach and wants their logo to look like a disco ball emoji... but a brain!

AuDHD coach Neely Kimey's company, Weird + Wired, was in need of a logo. They had tried in the past and struck out finding the balance between the two. Challenge accepted. Our design team was all hands on deck passing illustrations back and forth — tweaking, recoloring til it looked just right. We're so happy with the result and were so glad to collab with this neurodivergent biz owner who does such meaningful work.

I started working on the biz in 2008 while waiting for our Dept of Buildings permits to come through (the restaurant I was lucky enough to manage), and here I am now — with two other No. 7 fam vets by my side — thank you and 💕💕 — and the wonderful who put this cute graphic together with no notice! Not to mention our amazing team of freelancers and interns who keep things running smooooothly.

is the BEST film festival -- all music films?! I'm there (and by THERE, I mean Minneapolis in November!). I've been going for the past few years with , and I look forward to it so much. This year all the more as Love & Victory did their 25th Anniversary branding and merch. Here's the silkscreen poster we designed and that was printed by the amazing -- scroll through for a fun ink drawdown and some alt designs we came up with. Bonus points for anyone who knows which early 2000s indie album the green/orange/yellow one looks SO much like! Didn't realize til after we sent it off.
