Food and drink play an essential role in independence celebrations. For many Black Americans, Independence Day is celebrated on June 19, or "Juneteenth.” Juneteenth gatherings customarily feature red foods, which are used to symbolize resilience and joy.

As you already know, McNulty’s is a family business. Our team’s makeup is family - be it my father, my nephews & niece, and their significant others. So, with heavy hearts, we regret to inform you that one of our beloved ones, Lisa Fu, has passed away. Her sudden loss has deeply impacted all of us at McNulty’s and our extended community.

Lisa was more than just a team member; she was a creative force who played an instrumental role in designing our various gift sets, tea tins, and other products like our Serenity Garden tea. Her creative flair and attention to detail brought beauty and joy to our offerings. Additionally, Lisa's expertise in PR and marketing helped bridge the generation gap, ensuring our brand resonated with customers of all ages.

As we mourn the loss of Lisa, we kindly request your support for her surviving family (husband and 10-year-old daughter, Mackenzie) during this challenging time.
