The Strawberry Letter features two of our favorite producers. The Eau De Vie de Petite Lait by is an incredibly creamy spirit made from whey, resulting in a thrice-distilled spirit absent of all lactose. Complimenting the flavor is a deluxe strawberry moonshine by , featuring tart and bright-tasting notes with a deceptively fruit-forward nose. Mixed with vodka, fresh lemon, honey, and a touch of habanero tincture - the end result is a zingy, oddly addictive drink that is tough to put down. The added joy of this cocktail is celebrating two spirits brought to us by , produced with the utmost thought to their sustainability and footprint on the environment.
On a stormy day, our bar manager Keri () highly recommends pairing our new Maravilla cocktail with our Tiger shrimp al Ajillo. The Maravilla is a riff on a classic Bobby Burns cocktail, where we swap out the blended scotch for - resulting in a deep umami flavor that picks up all of the spice and richness from the buttery tiger shrimp.
