We are the progenitor to the Peace Corps. Make a difference for others. See the difference in you.
Sending volunteers to make a difference for 7 weeks in Africa since 1958.
I am thinking of conducting a series of 1 hour or so zoom gatherings in which Operation Crossroads Africa participants can share our stories. July is usually when groups return from their journeys. What if we start in July and decide on dates times for further gatherings leading up to Dr. James H. Robinson's Birthday in January?
I am thinking Friday, July 26th at 7: 00 pm Eastern, 4:00 pm Pacifica, and 6: 00 pm Central.
I am open to what you think. Before finalizing anything, I would love to get your feedback. (You can respond here or email me at [email protected])
The purpose of these gatherings would be..."Sharing Our Stories."
PS: I have been reading about Rev. Dr. Robinson over the last few weeks. He was such a champion for human rights and unity amongst people. And, he seemed to operate with such grace. I would love to hear stories from people who actually had interactions with him as well as life changing stories from your Crossroads experience.
