I’m sorry what!!!!!
How Jason Aldean's 'Try That in a Small Town' became a political controversy The country music star is known for his songs about rural life, but critics, especially those on the left of the political spectrum, say his latest music video takes the nostalgic themes too far.
Let dance with some old and new friends
So much fun!

I’m pasting this from a local band I follow. Just something to think about when you support congestion pricing.
“Any thoughts from my musician friends on how congestion pricing will affect your decisions on playing gigs in Manhattan?
I have way too much gear to take trains to gigs. Additionally, I’m not taking the subway home with expensive instruments at 2 am until the subways are WAY safer.
According to the proposal, if you drive below 60th Street before 8 pm, it looks like it’ll cost you an extra $23 bucks!
The options seem to be….
1. Start gigs later. This means have playing times moved to 10 or 11 pm. You can then enter the city at 8:30 and not be charged. Back in the 70’s, music would start in clubs late and….. IT SUCKED!!!
2. Charge venues more money to cover the extra expense. If you have 3-4 musicians driving in, that’s an extra $75-$100 bucks more. We all know venues are NEVER gonna go for that!!!!
3. Don’t take gigs in Manhattan. That will kill the music scene in Manhattan.
Fact is, it may kill commerce in Manhattan overall. Might be good for the outer boroughs though.”
