AAI provided funding for four sewing machines at the House of Life. Young girls who come to have their babies...can also learn a job skill that will enable them to get a good job at a Machiladora,(factory)- many have daycare! This is the only project of its kind in El Salvador.

Guardians of the Water Project launches!
This year we received support from the Salvadoran Water Authority (https://www.asa.gob.sv/) to provide funding for our turtle conservation project in Barra de Santiago.
The grant provided salaries to hire 50 local fishermen and employ three biologists to supervise and document the project. Materials were purchased to construct turtle hatcheries at three locations on the beach for this six month project- August 2024 – February 2025.
The team will also clean-up the nearby estuary.

Clean Water to Children Around the World! Leon McLauglin was featured on the cover of Coast Magazine in June. A launch party was held in Kirkland and Garden Parties in July and August generating enough funding for 4,600 people to have clean fresh drinking water on the Hopi and Navajo Reservations. Improve Lives With Education In BUNAKIJJA, UGANDA
Children in rural areas of Uganda have no access to good education. Teachers in village schools are unmotivated and frequently absent. Students are unable to pass the National End of Primary School Exam and, consequently, they are unable to pursue further education. Our school offers 220 children of Bunakijja an opportunity to receive a good quality education that includes knowledge of English. Our graduates have not only passed the National Exam but have done it with top grades.

Airline Ambassadors International recognizes the benefits of travel for cultural exchange and business, which is why we were excited to team up with the New York Institute of Finance to make the Collegiates Asia Entrepreneurship Tour possible. The adventurous college students that joined us on this inaugural trip experienced firsthand the deep cultural history of China, visiting many sights such as the Forbidden City, Great Wall of China before voyaging to the port city of Tangshan.

Fundraiser for Zaragosa Home!
Many of our Airline Ambassador team joined a fundraiser for Zaragosa Home.

This was a lovely event and allowed our team to network with so many others who have been helping the Zaragosa Home for Abandoned Elders.

After a lovely meal they hosted an auction and raised ive $2,500 that is so needed for repairs to the Andelucci Home. Carolina and Armando, who run the home joined the festivities and shared their gratitude for the support from so many.

July 5th, 2024 The Vice President of the Republic of El Salvador, Mr. Félix Ulloa signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Director of the National Development and Design Agency (ADDN), Mr. David Rivard.

This agreement with the Council on National Development established a framework for cooperation to promote partnerships, programs, and policies aimed at continuing to ensure the well-being of the population. It also aims to strengthen institutional capacities, leadership skills, and knowledge management between the National Development Council and ADDN.

We are thrilled to have June Huang, Director of Windsor School in Flushing New York as our new Board Chair, and Lee Tian of the New York Institute of Finance as our new Treasurer.
Together they arranged scholarships for 15 students on a ten day Collegiate Asia Entrepreneurship Tour to China for August of 2024.

Ukraine Update
Krzysztof's convoy was attacked on his last mission. Local villagers came to his aid and helped him to safety, offering kindness, support and tea. One woman, Larissa was especially caring to Krzysztof. She and her husband are currently living in their bombed out home because they have nowhere else to go. Krzysztof is now determined to add rebuilding their home to the already endless list of aid he is bringing to Ukrainians. Your donation can help him help Larissa, her wheelchair-bound husband and so many others.

July 30 was the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons
In observance of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, we highlight the urgent issue of child trafficking. Shockingly, one in three trafficking victims is a child, with most being girls. According to the UNODC, children are twice as likely as adults to face violence while being trafficked.
