Summer 2022 | Nyack College | School of Social Work Newsletter The School of Social Work hosted its hooding ceremony for the Class of 2022 at The Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey for 29 graduates—the first in-person celebration in two years.
Fostering Change for Children (FCFC), with a great employment opportunity for recent graduates and prospective Summer graduates, interested in working in child welfare in New York City through our Children’s Corps program.
Prior experience is not required to join the corps as each member completes a pre-service training that provides them with the knowledge and competencies needed to begin casework. After completing the pre-service training, each member is placed at one of our partner agencies in NYC. There, they receive a full-time position with salary and comprehensive benefits.
Throughout their employment, Children’s Corps will provide ongoing support to each corps member, in order to facilitate both their personal and professional growth.
Currently recruiting members for our Summer Children’s Corps Class of 2022 and would love to extend the opportunity for your students and alumni to apply.
