Members of our Goya Board delivered gifts to our Christmas families this morning. We thank everyone who sponsored a family and brought joy and Christian charity to our neighbors.

We are thankful to all of our Goya families for their participation in last night’s Thanksgiving Run. May the spirit of philanthropy increase within us all everyday of the year and in every season. God bless and Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Our Goyans gathered tonight to prepare meals for this coming Thanksgiving celebration. May our Lord bless their hard work and ignite within their hearts the spirit of love and compassion for their neighbor. May our Lord also bless the food and drink of those who will partake. Thank you to our community for their donations and for responding to the need of the community at large. We wish a blessed Thanksgiving to everyone!
Our Jr. Goyans gathered to make personalized prayer cards in English and Spanish in preparation for our annual Thanksgiving Drive. We spoke to them about the importance of showing love towards our neighbors and how valuable each person is in God’s eyes. May the Lord bless our youth and all of the families that will receive the gift of food and drink this coming Thanksgiving!

We began our 40 days of Liturgy for the Christmas Lenten Season this evening followed by a procession and intercessory prayers to the Theotokos. We prayed for the peace of the whole world and for a blessed journey towards the Nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Orthros begins at 8:00 a.m. daily followed by the Divine Liturgy. Wednesday Liturgy begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Bible Study on St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans. We wish everyone a blessed and fruitful fasting season!
