Saw this on TikTok and decided to do one of my own. Knowing exactly what you want AND knowing exactly who you are , is half the battle.

Writing that out made it easier to see what we want , so when someone comes and they’re not THAT , it’s easier to detach .

And we’re aware of who we are and how we are so there’s no surprises when certain things happen .

Plus, we know what we gotta fix within ourselves to get the person that’s meant for us.

Some people be setting themselves up for problems, trying to be next to somebody with a calling or a following.

They’re following their path and you tryna steer them in the opposite direction because your insecurities won’t let THEM, or yourself be great.

There’s things people HAD to do to get where they are. They HAD to overcome some things. They HAD to fight some demons.

It’s a lesson I’ve been learning for awhile now. But it wasn’t until I got to this big age, doing big girl things that I really understood it.

I’m an over sharer to a degree. I process out loud. I come up with an idea? I shared it. I had a great day? I share it. I had a bad day? I shared that too.

The problem with sharing too much is that it gives people the opportunity to throw some hate on your s**t before it got to flourish.

I’ve fu**ed up and ALMOST fu**ed up a lot of great opportunities by opening my mouth before things ever took off.
I’m learning the hard way. But nevertheless, I’m learning.

Everything ain’t for everybody. But everything isn’t JUST for you either.
