Fundraiser Event for Healing Our Warriors Raise money for Healing Our Warriors

People ask...what do you do at Healing Our Warriors? Well...it's really complicated to put what we do on paper or explain fully in a website.

We help people help themselves by explaining where some of our ways of thinking come from and how to simply change our perspectives to a new way of BE-ing. Simply discovering who we really are - underneath the pain and shame that life has thrown at us causing us to hide behind masks and walls!

We do this in a one FULL day - incorporating music, art, games, and horses! We feed you lunch and dinner... and we do it all for FREE because we understand it best - having been through a lot of it ourselves!

If you, or someone you know, is struggling with Anxiety, Panic, Depression, PTS(D), Excessive Stress, and/or Suicidal Ideation (thoughts) and you don't know what to do about it... let us show you H.O.W. (Healing Our Warriors)

This is open to active Military, Veterans, First Responders, Family/Friends of any of those, AND anyone that finds themselves struggling!!

We can help... because we understand! Peer-led and trauma informed. You never have to do this alone!!!

Our next open Healing Our Warriors Mission is coming up April 23rd! This will be an All Female Mission. If you are interested in attending or know someone who is... please get on the website and apply. I'm making phone calls now to fill up the next few. If this one doesn't fit in your schedule...we are currently holding them once a month.

A good Sunrise is always healing! Reminder of a new beginning. A new start. A freshness. Life can definitely have its ups and downs. No one is immune from struggle, pain, or heartache. Sometimes it feels like we're the only ones that suffer... but we're not.

You never have to feel alone! Because you're not. There are others of us who understand. Who've been there. Who get it. Who knows!

Breathe my friend and just keep moving forward even if it's only an inch a day. THAT'S progress. I'm here with you. Standing a little before you to coax you forward. Standing a little behind you to push a little if needed. Standing above you to pick you up. Standing beneath you to lift you. But always beside you to reaasure you that you are NOT alone!

Today they are supposed to meet to determine whether my Temporary Occupational Disability becomes permanent or they kick me to the curb which will mean no income. Scott will be losing his job soon as well because they are closing their shop down. Prayers appreciated.
