The Nazirite/Nazarite vow is taken by individuals who have voluntarily dedicated themselves to God. The vow is a decision, action, and desire on the part of people whose desire is to yield themselves to God completely. By definition, the Hebrew word nazir, simply means “to be separated or consecrated.” The Nazirite vow, which appears in Numbers 6:1-21, has five features. It is voluntary, can be done by either men or women, has a specific time frame, has specific requirements and restrictions, and at its conclusion a sacrifice is offered.

I just taught a lesson Tuesday night on the I Am that I Am. Jesus said I Am the resurrection and the life.

Life in that scripture in John 11:25 is the Greek word Zoe. This is eternal life from being born again. However in the new testament there are two more words for life.

There is bio in which we get the word biology. We have a life that is physical. Our bodies must be taken care of. Our bodies must be taken care of so we need to keep it in shape. Otherwise we will be sick and suffering from ailments that hinder us.

God in the old testament gave Israel a diet to consume. No animals could be consumed that were bottom feeders in nature. Jesus in the Gospels declared all meats clean but we must still watch the American diet. It has no nutritional content in it. To much sugar and no fiber in it. To much fried foods and most Americans don't have portion control. So our health is important to have good biological life.

The other word for life in the new testament is Psuche. It is where we get the word psychology. Our mental health is important. We must have our minds renewed daily with the positive energy and thoughts that are healthy. That only comes from God.

We imagine things that are not healthy and it drives us crazy and suspicious of God and Man. I would say that mental health causes us to live with no true peace in life. Most people worry and are anxious about what they are gonna eat, drink or wear. But our Lord told us not to be full of anxiety, mistrust or fearful of anything. We are to seek God's Kingdom and he will add what we need in life.

So body, soul and spirit must be equally balanced to enjoy life. Let's live how the Lord told us to live. Then we can feel good about ourselves and each other. There is some positivity in life we must embrace with each other. Let's life life in those three dimension as the holy scripture reveals and teaches us to.

So NOw faith is the substance of things hoped for, and it is the evidence of things not seen. God lives in the eternal NOW.
He is always present. He is a very present help in the time of trouble. That means he's right there present with you in the trouble. There is never a time when God is absent, he is with you always until the end of the earth. Hallelujah.
