And we have another exciting opportunity to serve alongside our IMB Missionaries, Johnny & Donna Maust, and the Afro-Ecuadorians of Esmeraldas, Ecuador. Our next Ecuador Mission trip is set for JAN. 29 - FEB. 4, 2025.

MEN’S FISH FRY Fellowship!
What a blessing and great turnout with several guests tonight at Royal Baptist! Many thanks to Scott Moore, Allan Gill, and their team for all the hard work to prepare & serve us some amazing fried catfish, hush puppies, fries & slaw. Big shout out also to two of our dessert legends: Lee S.’s homemade ice cream and Louie G.’s cakes!

Thank you, Justin Gill, for sharing a timely & challenging word from Luke 5 for every man! Jesus calls every one of us men to follow Him and become a “fisher of men”. As a fisher of men (a disciple maker), we must be 1) Prepared, 2) Patient, and above all, we must 3) Persevere. Jesus Himself does it within us, but we men desperately need relationships with one another to faithfully do all three. Amen, Justin! I’m already looking forward to our next Mens gathering later this fall! ~ Pastor Steve.

Thank you so very much to everyone who provided a breakfast item for the Ruth Hill Elementary School faculty this morning! With your help and support, our JAM-X leaders blessed these awesome educators. What a joy it is watching our people serve others in the name of Jesus!

Please be praying for ALL our Coweta County Schools, faculty, students and families as the new school year begins this week. May the Lord grant His presence, grace and peace to each one, and may He use our JAM-X leaders in a powerful way this year so that many young hearts will be drawn to saving faith in Jesus.

Many of you are familiar with our JAM-X (Jesus And Me - Xtreme!) after school Bible club at Ruth Hill Elementary School. Several of our Royal Baptist folks serve faithfully each week during the school year to lead the JAM-X club and love on kids by sharing their life, the gospel, biblical truth, and the love of Christ.

Here's an easy, one-time way that YOU too can serve as we kick off the new school year next week!

Our JAM-X leaders will be hosting a BREAKFAST for all the Teachers and Administrators at Ruth Hill ES on WEDNESDAY, JULY 31st, at 7:30AM, and we are asking for several breakfast items listed below. Thanks so much for your willingness to serve & give! Please be praying for our community, families, children, schools, teachers, and administrators as classes begin next week. Pray also for our JAM-X club leaders and for the students at Ruth Hill. Pray that the Lord will draw those students who need Christ to participate in JAM-X this year, and for their hearts to be drawn to saving faith in Christ. Lastly, pray that our JAM-X leaders will have opportunities to connect with the parents this year and be an influence for Christ!

The Lord blessed us greatly with a powerful time of training this weekend at Royal Baptist! We examined & experienced Jesus’ method of relational disciple making with two godly facilitator/practitioners, Mark Messick and Charlie Turner, who led us through our own “Internal DiscipleShift-1” training from RDN.org.

Jesus will use this training and each one of us to help create a genuine culture of relational disciple making among our church family. One person at a time, faithful to follow Jesus, …intentional about DOING His Great Commission in His strength. May we all grow to realize that making disciples is not just something we must DO, …but it’s WHO WE ARE in Christ. ~ Pastor Steve.

I apologize for the confusion, but I made an error by sharing an incorrect starting date for Kids AWANA.

AWANA for Kids will start on Wed. AUG. 14th.

There are NO ACTIVITIES on two Wednesdays, JULY 31st and AUG. 7th, to give our kids, families, and leaders a break before the fall schedule begins.

We are richly blessed to have Christian Families Today (CFT) located right here in Newnan! CFT will be starting their next "FREEDOM From ADDICTION" class on August 5th, meeting on Monday evenings, 6:30-8:45PM, over a 16-week period.

What a great time of fellowship this evening! I really enjoyed just hanging out with everyone. The hotdogs & ice cream, fun music, and a water slip-n-slide for the kids was a perfect combination.

Many thanks to everyone who cooked, served, brought ice cream, cleaned up, etc. And special thanks to Jim & crew of Laser Sporting of Ga, Inc. for bringing the slip-n-slide…and the Walker’s for bringing us some wonderful music.

5th Sunday!

Church Family!
Everyone is invited to come hang out and relax together at our ICE CREAM FELLOWSHIP on Sunday, JULY 7th, 4:30-6:30PM. This will be a great opportunity for us to slow down and spend time connecting with one another, meeting new friends, and sharing life together!

So, bring a churn of ice cream to share (...store bought is just fine, too) and we'll have hotdogs on the grill for you to enjoy. Bring your lawn chairs and any outdoor games (co****le, etc.) that you have! KIDS!!... bring a swimsuit and enjoy some time getting wet with a SLIP-N-SLIDE inflatable!
