After what happened this past weekend and during both political conventions coming up, we want to join together in prayer for our nation, our leaders, and all of those affected by this recent tragedy. Here’s a few ways to pray during this challenging time:

1️⃣ Pray that we, as the Church of Jesus Christ, can put on love and be with those who need us (Colossians 3:14)
2️⃣ Pray that we will remember our eternal residence in Heaven, not in politics (Psalm 84)
3️⃣ Ask that the Holy Spirit would invade the hearts of our country and we would see revival break out (Psalm 85:6)
4️⃣ Lift up and mourn with the families who are mourning (Romans 12:15)

Last week wrapped up Midweek for the summer. We hope you enjoy a restful summer break! Midweek will begin again in August. 220 & Crossover meet in the summer on June 19, June 26, July 10, and July 24.

Senior Sunday Is Always a Good Day!!

Yesterday we had the privilege of congratulating and celebrating our high school seniors who are moving on to do amazing things for the Lord and we couldn’t be more proud of them!!

To them and their families, we are always praying for you! And remember you’ll always have a home here at SonRise!!
