Prayers for our local Law Enforcement Community. May God be with all impacted by the Officer's passing.

It is with deep hearts and sadness, CPL Kevin Enfinger, while heading home from patrolling our city at approximately 5:30 pm this afternoon, had what appears to be a heart attack. He was found in the median and the passerby started CPR. Unfortunately, Kevin did not regain consciousness and was pronounced at Newnan Piedmont. Kevin has been employed with the Grantville Police Department for approximately 4 years. He was a field training officer for the department as well as over the department vehicles. I really am at a loss of words....I thank all of my friends that have reached out. We need to pray for his wife, brother, and father. Arrangements will be posted when available. Thank you for your support.

Mountains in the Bible represent strength, stability, power, places of encounter with God, and spiritual transformation. Mountains symbolize victory, refuge, and the glory of God, and are locations for worship and sacrifices. Mountains also represent obstacles and challenges that must be overcome in our faith journey.

Psalm 95:4-5 KJV

4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. 5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

Nothing will ever separate you from the love of God!!!

Romans 8:35-39
King James Version

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our Spiritual Journey:

What Is Worship According To The Bible?

What is worship to you? The reality is that worship is more than just music. If we want to honor God, we need to understand the nature of true worship.

If you were to ask 10 people, “What is worship?” most of them would probably say something about singing in church.
This makes sense given that we tend to divide our church services into two parts: worship and sermon. In years past, people engaged in “worship wars”, debating what types of music were acceptable in the church.

But the reality is that worship is much more than just music.

If we want to honor God, we need to understand the nature of true worship.

In John 4:23, Jesus said,

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.”

God is seeking true worshipers who will bring Him glory.

The Definition of Worship:

First, let’s work to define what true, Biblical worship is. The word “worship” comes from “worth ship”.

To worship something is to prize it above everything else. To honor it as the thing of highest importance and to act accordingly.

Anything can be worshiped. If a guy absolutely loves his car, invests thousands of dollars in it, and spends hours working on it, you could say that he worships his car. If a woman spends all her time at work to the exclusion of everything else, you could say that she worships her career.

Worship is when we give our deepest affections and highest praise to something.

True worship of God is when we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. It’s when we prize God above everything else and put Him first in our hearts.

As it says in Deuteronomy 6:4-5,

“The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

Contrast this to what Jesus says in Matthew 15:8-9,

“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”
This makes it clear that worship is, first and foremost, about the heart.

The Pharisees did and said things that looked and sounded like worship, but they didn’t truly love God from the heart. Their actions and words didn’t please God because they weren’t motivated by love. This is why Jesus called them “whitewashed tombs”. They looked good on the outside but were dead on the inside.

If we want to worship in a way that pleases the Lord, we need to start with our hearts. If we don’t love God from the heart, then nothing else matters.

Our hearts are saddened by her passing, yet we rejoice in knowing she is with our Lord and Saviour. Her labors are over, afflictions laid down. She passed away, cancer free. Her appointed time came and now she is at rest with our Lord. Oh but for sure, we will be reunited with our Lord and Saviour and loved ones once again never to be seperated again.

1 Corinthians 4:2 KJV

2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Our faithfulness to God, His Church, His Spirit, and His Word, is letting our light shine before others, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father who is in Heaven.

When we are faithful to God, we walk the strait and narrow path He placed on, not choosing a different way.

When we are faithful to His Church, we are in attendance, worshiping, praying, praising and growing in Him.

When we are faithful to His Spirit, we hear His directions, we follow His instructions, we abide in His way.

When we are faithful to His Word, we study to show ourself approved before God. We preach and teach the good news of Jesus Christ in detail to all.

The abiding and endwelling presence of Christ in our lives, guides us, instructs us, teaches us, TO UPHOLD THE BLOOD STAIN BANNER OF CHRIST.

Are you too busy for God?
Are you too busy for His Service?
Are you too busy His People and the lost?
Are you too busy to be a light, that others might see Jesus in you, and be drawn to Jesus by Him?

What have you allowed to come between you and God's calling in your life and His thoughts He has for you in His work?

Nothing can separate you from the love of God. That is the scripture. However, are you separating yourself from His PURPOSE IN YOUR LIFE?
Even in your prodigal state of living, God still loves you and is waiting for you to return to Him. You have lost your joy in salvation. You are cold and indifferent. You are truly miserable, and it is a misery that is not hid well by you.
Chastisement hurts, breaks, and destroys the hard heart.

Are you tired of living in disobedience? It's time to make things right. Come home to Jesus. Come home to the Father. Come while the spirit is drawing you. Repent, you nor I are perfect. Seek forgiveness.

Satan would have you to become angry and bitter right now. Anything he can do to support you in your faults he will do even if he lies.!!!!!

Not sure who or how many this is for, God said put it out there. He loves you and wants you with Him and not with Satan and hell bound.

I love and appreciate you all, and will only share the truth with you all.

Remember, sometimes love hurts. Love one another and keep God first in your life.

This Preacher loves you!!!

Matthew 6:24
King James Version

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. "Ye cannot serve God and mammon".

He spoke these words as part of His Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5—7), in which He had said it was foolish to store up treasures on earth where “moths and vermin destroy and where thieves break in and steal” (Matthew 6:19–20); rather, He urged us to store up treasure in heaven where it will last forever. The obstacle that prevents us from wise investment is the heart. Wherever our treasure is, there will our hearts be (Matthew 6:21). We follow what has captivated our hearts, and Jesus made it clear that we cannot serve two masters.

A master is anything that enslaves us (Romans 6:16). Alcohol, lust, and money are all masters of some people. In Jesus’ warning that we cannot serve two masters, He specifies money (or “mammon” or “wealth” in other translations) as a master in opposition to God.

Jesus’ call to follow Him is a call to abandon all other masters. He called Matthew from the tax collector’s booth (Matthew 9:9). Matthew obeyed and walked away from extravagant wealth and dirty deals. Jesus called Peter, James, and John from the fishing docks (Mark 1:16–18). To obey Jesus’ call meant that they had to leave behind everything they knew, everything they’d worked for. Jesus called Paul, a successful Pharisee, with the words, “I will show him how much he must suffer for my name” (Acts 9:16). Those words will never make it into a mass-market ad campaign for Christianity—but maybe they should, because that’s what it means to follow Jesus (Luke 9:23). We must forsake everything else, no matter the cost (Matthew 10:34–39).

The Lord describes Himself as a “jealous God” (Exodus 34:14). This means He guards what is rightfully His. He is righteously jealous for our affections because we were created to know and love Him (Colossians 1:16). He is not jealous for His own sake; He needs nothing (Psalm 50:9–10). He is jealous for us because we need Him (Mark 12:30; Matthew 22:37). When we serve another master such as money, we rob ourselves of all we were created to be, and we rob God of His rightful adoration.

Jesus’ claim to us is exclusive. He bought us with His own blood and delivered us from our former master, sin (1 Corinthians 6:20; 7:23; Romans 6:17). He doesn’t share His throne with anyone. During Jesus’ time on earth, some people followed Him for a ways, but their devotion was superficial (Luke 9:57–62). They wanted something Jesus offered, but they weren’t committed (Mark 10:17–22). Other things were more important. They wanted to serve two masters.

We cannot serve two masters because, as Jesus pointed out, we end up hating one and loving the other. It’s only natural. Opposing masters demand different things and lead down different paths. The Lord is headed in one direction, and our flesh and the world are headed in the other. A choice must be made. When we follow Christ, we must die to everything else. We will be like some of the seeds in Jesus’ parable (Luke 8:5–15)—only a portion of those seeds actually bore fruit. Some sprouted at first but then withered and died. They were not deeply rooted in good soil.

If we attempt to serve two masters, we will have divided loyalties, and, when the difficulties of discipleship clash with the lure of fleshly pleasure, the magnetic pull of wealth and worldly success will draw us away from Christ (see 2 Timothy 4:10). The call to godliness goes against our sinful nature. Only with the help of the Holy Spirit can we remain devoted to one Master (John 6:44).

Ask yourself this question:

Am I truly and completely dedicated to and committed for, Jesus Christ and His perfect will, to live in His purpose for me, daily?

Anything that comes between you and your service to God, honor to God, obedience to God, and committed love to God, IS YOUR GOD!!!

CALL ON JESUS TODAY. REPENT, TURN FROM YOUR OTHER GODS, AND FOCUS ON LIVING FOR JESUS IN THESE LAST DAYS. SEEK HEAVENLY PLACES, LIVES, AND FAMILIES. ABUNDANT LIFE IS A GIFT TO YOU FROM GOD.

As you all know, I appreciate and love you all. I also want for us, to all be together with our Lord Jesus Christ, forever, without a loss of one.

Psalm 37
King James Version

1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.

18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

28 For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

33 The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Appreciate and want to encourage you all.

Enough faith to move mountains:

Matthew 17:20
King James Version
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
The disciples tried to cast a demon out of a suffering boy but could not. When they realized this, they turned and asked Jesus why their attempt failed. He said because their faith was too small, and that kind of demon could only be removed by prayer and fasting. He then taught the message in the verse shared above.

We often think of mountains as obstacles in our lives that nothing can budge. In t his case of the boy who was suffering, the enemy had erected a stronghold in his life. Sadly, the disciples did not truly believe that the Lord was stronger than that demonic force.

Think about you, do you believe God is able to move any mountain in your life? When you have problems, do you talk to your friends or turn to other sources for solutions, while not trusting in God’s wisdom? If you do, no doubt the result is that mountain remains. But if you have even the smallest faith, the kind that clings to God and does exactly tly as He says,, He will knock down those strongholds in ways that will astound you.

We should always a thank God for removing the mountains and leading us to victory, which gives us liberty…..

Appreciate and love you all in Jesus!!!

Good afternoon. I pray you all are doing well. Taking this time to invite you all, past and present members, and or visitors to join us Sunday for a great time in the Lord.

We miss you all who, are working, sick, hospitalized or home bound. May the Lord bring healing and rest to all the weary and torn.

In our days, we see many falling from grace, overwhelmed with decisions made, that has taken them away from God and the Church. Many have become preoccupied with life patterns that do no keep God first in their lives. We see too often, people confesses Jesus, but choose not to follow His direction, and the path He has placed us on.

You may wonder why life is so miserable for you and your family. Without worship and reverence being given to God in your life, you will, if not already, become cold, hard hearted, and even to the point to where you are neither cold or hot, when it comes to your relationship with Jesus. Lukewarm, is never the place to be with God. He Himself, said He would spew the lukewarm out of His mouth.

Come home, come back to Jesus, come to the church God has led you to. Make sure you are following God and not your will to please the flesh. It is impossible to please God, but by faith. He who calls upon the Lord must know that He is, and He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

The place God sent you, is where you should be. Hurt feelings, bitterness, anger, spite, pride, and lack of love could be harboring your heart and soul. It's time to get right with God. Come together, and make things right in God's eyes. It's the only way to live in the truth of Jesus and the Light of His path.

Be sure you are running this race with patience. Keeping the faith. Pressing on and never turning back to the world at its influences.

This Pastor loves you. I am praying for you. If you can not be in church with us at Living By Faith Church 40 Mulberry Street Newnan, Ga. 30263 , please, please, please get in Church somewhere and let God use you for His honor and Glory.

Appreciate and love you all in Jesus!!!
