Lang Studio Design is seeking a part-time Interior Design Intern to join our team. You will work hand in hand with our principal, Betty Lang on various commercial & residential projects. This is a great opportunity for an extremely passionate and dedicated team member at this fun and fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is creative, honest, hardworking, someone who is looking to build a successful career in the interior design world. Intern will have the opportunity to be promoted to design assistant.

Interior Design Intern Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture required or currently enrolled in school pursuing degree
• 0-2 years of experience in all phases of interiors projects

Interior Design Intern Requirements: (Part-Time)
• Proficiency in CAD, good knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
• Commitment to the design process and team environment
• An understanding of the design & construction process
• Assist in selection of finish materials
• Create elevations & space plans
• Ability to work effectively on multiple design projects at one time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Curious and open minded to learn and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to details & self-motivated
• Committed to building a long-term professional career
• Willing to travel between Orange County & Los Angeles

Interior Design Intern Responsibilities:
• Assist Designer in the ex*****on of specific assignments
• Perform site measurements
• Create elevations & space plans in CAD
• Assist in selection of finish materials
• Support presentations and documentation for schematic design, design development and construction documents
• Work on research for product and construction methods related to projects
• Ability to source products & writing specifications is a plus
• Must be able to accessorize during an installation
