Everyone should know the 4 C's when buying a diamond! These 4 C's are known as the diamond grading scale: Cut, color, clarity, and carat 💎
💍 Cut refers to how well a diamond is cut and polished, and majorly determines the brilliance or sparkle of a diamond. It also determines quality and how beautiful a diamond is.
💍 Color is an important factor in diamond grading if you are looking for that ideal bright diamond appearance. Diamond color ranges from D to Z. Diamonds in the D-F range are known as colorless, while diamonds at the far end of the scale have tints of light yellow.
💍 Clarity refers to the visibility of diamond inclusions, or imperfections. Preferably you want a diamond that is "eye clean" or a diamond that appears blemish free and only has visible inclusions under a microscope.
💍 Carat refers to the diamond's weight. Carat size is all about preference. A higher carat size does not indicate higher quality.
