Today, I:

Slept in, which is rare for me.

Had a big breakfast with my son, who's going to college in the fall.

Had a nice midday outing with my daughter.

Simple things like these, I will cherish & love forever and are so good for the soul 🙏🏼🥰

Mentally I transported myself back to 🇬🇷 simply by looking through my photo albums.

The state of my mental and physical health requires that I put ME first and I can honestly say, this was a trip where I did just that.

I booked this trip at a time in my life where I was at a crossroad after my divorce. Yes, it was a very extravagant trip and felt extremely self-indulgent but it was exactly what I needed.

I still have so much more to work through but I will forever be grateful for my life lessons that continue to help me grow. 🙏🏼

I love my body again 🥰...

and yes, there have been times, especially in the past few years, when I didn't. I didn't treat it well, in fact, I neglected it; mostly stressed induced.

I am back and feeling healthier again and plan on keeping myself here 😊

Feeling thankful for my strong sense of discipline and love for myself enough to take myself back to health 🙏🏼

A few things about me you might not already know …

1. I'm o.k. with getting older - always proudly announced my age and I just turned 53!

2. I will never stop feeling young - despite added wrinkles from year to year!

3. I love what music does for my soul! So many beautiful stories told through song and many of them tell MY story. I Love it! 😍

4. I miss playing my trumpet 🎺 - there is a sweetness and a sadness about my history with it! ☺️

5. I never went to college, and although I used to be uncomfortable when someone asked where I attended college and having to reply "I didn't" - I now feel 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓮 from knowing it's NOT what defines me.

6. I rarely sit - I prefer to stand - I love being active throughout the day but equally have the ability to "chill" underneath the (whether pool or beach) which relaxes me and puts me into a trans ☺️

7. I absolutely love "cafe zeit!" ☕️- it's my "mini vacation" every single day!

8. I play music 🎶 in the house as often as possible and sing and whistle as often as possible. I toss a little "TT" in there too! 😉💪🏼 Simply can't stop myself! 🤪

9. I am in love with inspiring others to feel great about themselves and their lives!

10. I am a hopeless romantic who loves, LOVE and will forever have a soft, open heart 🥰

I hear it takes a lifetime to learn about life so it seems I still have more time ... Bring it, LIFE, bring it! ✨✨✨🙌🏼💫

Hello Morning, Hello Day ☀️

Life can be simple, if we wake up and truly appreciate each single day for what it offers ✨🙏🏼

Yes, we all fall down now and again but the goal is to pick ourselves back UP again no matter how many times ...

I created TOWEL TONING for myself 16 years ago when my kids were young (1 toddler and the other still nursing) - I didn't feel good in my post baby body, I was always exhausted and didn't have the time to exercise (so I thought) wasn't interested in hitting the gym and didn't have the leisure of going to Pilates, Yoga, Barre like mostly everyone else was doing around me.

I wanted to look and feel better so I created a workout for myself (initially, using a rolled up dish towel and my son's Plush Basketball 🏀) it not only got me fit, but allowed me to progressively get stronger and felt amazing, was FUN and never did I fact not want to do it on the daily!

When my fellow Mom group and then strangers began to approach me about seeing results, it became obvious it was very effective so ... I kept going! And don't ever plan on stopping 💪🏼💪🏼

After 16 years of consistently building a solid healthy foundation I can always rely upon, should things may slightly 𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙩 off kilter (that's life 🤪), I have definitely learned a thing or two but mainly to keep it simple by replacing the 𝗯𝗮𝗱 stuff with 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 😍 stuff which doesn't happen overnight but over time with desire & discipline.
