To mark the first UNICEF Summer Gala, Riva Yacht has donated a unique Fiat 500 Riva Cabriolet that has been sold at auction during yesterday evening's exclusive charity event, held in the splendid setting of Porto Cervo.

Riva and Ferretti Group showed their support of UNICEF and the programmes developed by the United Nations to combat infant mortality and protect children. The vehicle is number 069/500 Fiat 500 Riva Cabriolet, a Limited Edition marking the legendary partnership of the two brands, and was donated by the shipyard to be sold at the charity auction that took place during a glamorous gala evening attended by international guests from the worlds of cinema and music.

“The Smallest Yacht in the world”, as the Fiat 500 Riva has been called, is the result of the partnership linking these two icons in the world of motoring and yachting, and stands out for its unique aesthetic and luxurious materials selected by Riva. The dashboard is in real mahogany with maple wood inlays, the same woods chosen by Riva for its yachts, whereas the exclusive numbered limited edition plaque was assigned to the first 500 vehicles.

The vehicle donated by Riva for the charity event also comes with a customised Owner Set made exclusively by
Poltrona Frau SpA and usually only available to yacht owners.

A feast for the eyes and a pleasure for those who will be onboard at sea, Custom Line Yacht 120’ bursts onto the nautical scene with the explosive force of new innovations that are sure to leave their mark. The newest member of the brand’s planing line reimagines and combines stylistic elements from automotive design and residential architecture, with the addition of in-depth research aimed at enhancing the shapes and volumes.

Ferretti Group has chosen Venice, Italy as the venue for the 50th anniversary of Ferretti Yachts, scheduled between Piazza San Marco Venezia and the Venetian Arsenal from June 22nd to 24th 2018.

A very special appointment for Ferretti Group that will celebrate the 50th anniversary at the Serenissima with an exclusive three-day event. Ferretti Yachts owners from all over the world will be involved, together with the city, in an exciting program dedicated to art, entertainment and Italian culture.

Celebrations will start with a gala dinner at Palazzo Ducale, in front of the evocative "Paradise" of Tintoretto, the largest canvas in the world, and the magnificent "Triumph of Venice crowned by the victory" of Veronese. From the ogival windows of Palazzo Ducale, exceptionally donated for the occasion by the generosity of the City of Venice, guests will attend a parade of the entire Ferretti Yachts fleet that will sail the waters of the San Marco basin in front of the most famous square in the world. At 7:45pm, thanks to the extraordinary participation of Italian Royal Air Force, the Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale frecce tricolori fans page, will fly over the city and Piazza San Marco. The sky of Venice will be colored by the tricolor in the anniversary of the "Battle of the Solstice", when exactly 100 years ago, in June 1918, the Italian Army heroically resisted the last Austro-Hungarian offensive and during which Major Francesco Baracca, “Asso degli Assi” of the Italian Aviation lost his life.
