🎉 First comp of the season! Congratulations to the Academy of Dance Showbiz Kids Competition Team on winning 🏆 TOP ELITE STUDIO 🏆 last weekend at Platinum Dance Competition! With over 21 studios the competition was Fierce, but the AOD Dancers brought their A game and their hard work, discipline, and dedication sure paid off!

⭐️Five TOP Choreography Awards (for dances ranging from our Minis up to our Seniors)
⭐️TOP Technique Award for 12 and under category
⭐️TOP Technique Award for 13 and over category
⭐️ 1st Overall 🥇 placement in 17 categories
⭐️ “Platinum Power” for most entertaining and exciting number of the competition goes to LEGALLY BLONDE.
⭐️Special Award “Concert Dance Ready” for our seniors flawless performance of WICKED.

Last week we lost an integral part of our AOD family. Miss Pat has been a part of our teaching staff for over 30 years. Her talents as a teacher shaped the lives of many of our dancers and her legacy is sure to impact the lives of many more dancers to come. AOD wouldn’t be what it is today without Miss Pat, and she will be deeply missed by us all.
