Over the weekend, The Dominion Pediatric team 🌼 participated in CHKD’s Fall Fest - a free community event 🎃 that offered a safe place and a family-friendly environment for children under 18 with special needs and their families to dress up and decorate their wheelchair or adaptive equipment 🎉 and trick or treat in the accessible indoor “neighborhood” 🏡.

This was our third time participating in this heartwarming and rewarding event ❤️, and this was the first event returning since the Covid pandemic, so this made it even more exciting! 🎊

The Dominion Pediatric team created a “garden house” 🌷 as we already adopt the philosophy in our practice that “Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together make this world a beautiful garden” 🌸.

Staff members worked hard together leading up to the event to create this theme and all dressed up as flowers, butterflies, and even had an extra special bumble bee 🦋. Many of our families we treat attended the event 🧡.
