This stunning piece has been generously gifted to the College by the Tyler Family, and it represents not only a valuable addition to our collection, but also an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the work and artistic legacy of Stella Elkins Tyler.

Hope everyone had a great labor day weekend! I’m Kristina Novak a social media intern at Bucks for this academic year. Some other things i’m involved in is the Honors@Bucks program as well as our softball team. A little more about myself is that I just graduated highschool and now working towards my associates degree in Health Sciences (Radiography). Some of my interests are movies, video games, and collecting vinyl records. Wishing everyone a great school year, hope to see everyone around campus! 📸💓

A DIY dream! ⚒️ Join our Historic Preservation program for some “hands-on” history where you'll learn masonry, wood, and window repair basics for older homes. 🏠

Course details ➡️ HIST214: Preservation Site Project meets Saturday mornings, 8/24 – 10/12 (not including Labor Day weekend). No experience required. $250 scholarships are available to all students who successfully complete the course. Participants can also earn their OSHA-10 Construction Certificate as part of the course.

So proud of our Softball pitcher, Ashley, for throwing out an AMAZING first pitch at the Trenton Thunder Baseball game last Friday! ⚾

Ashley is a sophomore Theater Arts major here at Bucks and was named Eastern State Athletic Conference softball player of the year for the 2023-2024 season. She currently holds the Bucks County Community College record for most strikeouts in a season (45) and was named MVP of the 2023-2024 season. 🙌

Ashley's family as well as our president, Dr. Jones, joined her on the field to cheer her on! 👏🎉

We're excited to share that the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) by our faculty in the 2023/24 academic year helped our students avoid a total of more than $1 million in textbook costs! 💰

OER are learning, teaching and research materials in any format that reside in the public domain or are under copyright that have been released under an open license, that permit no-cost access, re-use, re-purpose, adaptation and redistribution by others.

Two new exhibitions open at Hicks Art Center Gallery at BCCC - The Bucks County Herald Bucks County Community College (BCCC) announced the opening of two new exhibitions: “Dreams of Flora and Fauna” and “Endless Summer” at Hicks Art Center Gallery at the College’s Newtown Campus now through Sept. 14.

Congrats to our recent Bucks County Community College - Center for Workforce Development Metalwork Program grads! 🎓 These students worked so hard for 12 weeks and we can't wait to see where their careers take them.
