The purpose of this group is to share information, ideas and recruit new interest in the world of Gourd Art. We are a NON profit group.
We are a group of gourd artists & crafters, who meet monthly to share ideas & work on new gourd projects. We share new techniques with each other as we learn them, & we enjoy a "pot luck" lunch at most meetings. We are affiliated with the Georgia Gourd Society, & the American Gourd Society. New comers are welcome to join us to observe or participate each month.

CALL FOR INSTRUCTORS AND VENDORS
It’s a new year, that lull between New Year’s and Valentine’s Day, bad weather this week and cold, cold weather coming!
What should we do? Think of June and warm weather in Waynesville.
We are looking for a few more instructors—the form is on the website. Please submit them to Suzi soon!! Challenge yourself…and us!
In 2024, we have more space at the Fairgrounds—two buildings and the open arena—so there is plenty of room to fill. Get those instructor forms in soon!
We have much more room for vendors large and small, so reach out to Judi to reserve a vendor space. Bring all the goodies to sell.
As you make room reservations for your stay, remember that there will be an optional group trip on the Smoky Mountain Railroad on Tuesday. If you want to see the Smokies, plan for an extra day in Waynesville.

Nici Angell taught us to create gourd necklaces using wire to create netting around the gourd and adding beads. While most of us were frustrated getting started, it was a very fun project once we “got it”. Thank you Nick for you patience & teaching!

Such a wonderful time at today’s Patch meeting -fun food and fellowship🎄We missed many who couldn’t be with us. We had Demos by Kay Rozea; Beth Westberry & Tina Handrop. We brought lots of napkins to share and trade for decoupaging our gourds. We created a gift basket for the staff at Pickneyville.
