Meet Judge: Dr. Kym Harris

Meet Judge: Professor Kehlz is the Founder and Director of the Divas of Compton. The Divas of Compton is a program of 1 Shine Youth, which is a non profit organization and youth center she and her husband developed in 2012.

Professor Kehlz created the Divas of Compton out of a vision she had while attending Clark Atlanta University where she danced for the Onyx Dance Team and her Dorm Step Team, the Divas.
Professor Kehlz is an educator with a minor in Dance.
As the Director of the Divas of Compton her goal is to provide her team with amazing opportunities that will prepare them for the world of professional and collegiate dance while simultaneously teaching them essential leadership skills.

Meet Judge: Jamar S. Oliver
Age 32years young and a resident of memphis tn. I am a graduate of kirby high school(home of the cougars).I have been in the dance/majorette/drill community 10+years. I started my dance career under the leadership of the late great Andrea Paschal(Miss Sunshine). I served as captain for 6 years until it was time for me to move forward with my skills. I later began to teach many different majorette squads, a few including memphis sizzlers, wooddale middle school, and kirby high school sapphires. I’ve also worked with the lovely ladies of Mississippi Valley State University and the amazing blazettes of memphis!!!!! I After training and working with many squads i am now the head coach for the award winning memphis prancing tigerettes under the leadership of Mr. Quincy Oliver!!!!! I am now the owner of my own event company named OliVer and Co. located in Memphis Tn. I look for kids to have fun while doing what they love. I’m a stickler for clean lines, pointed toes. My motto is “i teach to learn and i learn as i teach”!!!!!!!
