Important library usage information for this coming Saturday:

Tables and seating will be limited as of Thursday evening as we set up for our Holiday Bazaar.

Noise levels will increase during bazaar hours on Saturday from 9am-3pm on both levels of the library.

Parking will be limited so please utilize the high school lot if possible.

I made this simple main idea/details activity as a reusable activity using a dry erase pocket sleeve and Velcro. I also made a cut/paste version for my students to complete. I will use these pictures, along with some distractors that are incorrect answers, for the ULS unit, The Gift of Giving. There are comprehension lessons provided with each unit but I wanted to use the same format each time.

My daughter received her doll when she was a baby, and our volunteer did such an amazing job!

Is your child self conscious about their differences? They can create a doll that looks just like them!

DDS supported people of any age and their family/caregivers
7-8 PM:
DDS supported adults ages 18+, their family/caregiver, or attending independently

This is a *non-certificate earning workshop* led by The Arc staff.
Participants will have access to first aid kit contents, epi-pen trainers, CPR dummy, and AED trainer for visual and hands-on learning.

We understand that everyone will learn differently and are prepared to be flexible and accommodate.

Guests can bring a stuffed animal to practice on if they choose.

Topics include safety in the home, school, and workplace, illness prevention, basic first aid skills, basic CPR knowledge, basic AED knowledge, Heimlich maneuver choking treatment, allergies and epinephrine injectors, and how and when to call for help.
Space is limited and registration is required.
