Dear RISNA network,
Due to medical reasons, we are sad to announce that Brother Ignatius Perkins will no longer be this year's Annual Meeting Keynote Speaker. However, in his place, we are happy to introduce Betty Rambur, PhD, RN, FAAN.
Details on Betty's keynote:
The evolution of US healthcare reimbursement models, the absence of overt financial recognition for nurses’ work, and how these in turn shape many of the woeful deficiencies in the US system are the focus. Corrective strategies that braid ethics and economics are outlined, with an emphasis on nursing value, career satisfaction, and care quality. Opportunities for nurses to enhance their careers through value-informed practice are offered.
