We capped off this weekend with a hard fought tie against Roco on the road. Down 2-1, the Blades scored late in the 3rd to tie it up.
Congrats to Johnny Campbell, who was our “Hard Hat” Player of the Game! Johnny as usual brought great effort which provided his line tons of great chances.
Next weekend we head to Kitchener, Ontario for the Preston Hockey Tournament.

The Blades got back to their winning ways today with a hard fought win in East Aurora! The Blades had production from every line this am. Congrats to Zak Rutkowski, our player of the game! Zak created a couple great chances and drew a late power play that helped seal the win!

The Wheatfield Blades finished off 2023 with a tie against East Aurora and a loss to the Buffalo Jr Sabres in league play.
The team looks to continue their improvement in ‘24, we are excited to head to Toronto in two weeks for the Preston hockey tournament.

Congrats to our East Aurora player of the game #72, Justin Meng. Jack Muscarella, #44 earned the “Hard Hat” from the Buffalo Jr Sabres game last night. Both Justin and Jack are always willing to put their bodies on the line, whether it’s blocking shots or diving to break up plays.
Congrats to both D-Men!

The Blades finished off their tournament on Sunday morning, with a loss to Oakville. The boys battled hard and made it to the semifinals against some tough competition.
Congratulations to our player of the game, Spencer Crowley. Spencer brought his best effort each and every shift.
Our next game is Saturday against Amherst.

Riverworks Outdoor Classic - Playoff

Our Blades got a 4-0 win today over Markham! This win put us in the playoff round tomorrow against Oakville.
Congrats to Landon Rivas, our Hard Hat Player of the Game. The honey badger was all over the ice and chipped in 2 goals.

🔵Our Blades have a busy weekend as they are participating in the Gene Harrington tournament.
🟡We started with two losses to Oakville and Halton Hills. We are still alive and play Markham Waxers today at 1:15 at Riverworks.

West was flying up and down the ice today. He will wear the C next game.

The Blades got back on the winning side tonight with a 2-1 win over East Aurora!
The entire team brought a great effort. Congrats to our player of the game, Justin Meng!
Justin played a great game on defense and as always, had a great attitude! The Blades play Amherst next on Sunday morning.

We lost our first league game to the Bisons today, 4-1. Our player of the game was Matthew Gelotte! Matthew created a number of good offensive plays and helped kill a number of penalties off. Congrats Matthew!
