Fun event to support JFK. Grab your friends!!!
Hi there! If you’re looking to help our High School here are some items that would be helpful!
NHS Wishlist (Drop off donations at open house in the library before you head to classes or to the office during school hours with a PTO sticky note on it)
Gift cards to stop and shop/ big y / or amazon (this helps the science teaching team buy the consumables needed for their science courses).
Snacks- Any boxes (large or small) or prepackaged snacks (nut free please) are a highly requested item from many people who work in the building. If you in Walmart or Costco and could grab a box of granola bars, goldfish, etc it would be very appreciated.
Used or new tennis balls- these are needed for the bottom of chairs. We need 36 to get this classroom set!
Assorted Tea and sweeteners. Several teachers create calm spots in their room and would love to offer tea and sweetener (packets of sugar, stevia, or a bottle of honey).
Tissues- everyone in the building needs tissues. If you are able to bring a box (or 5) they will certainly go to good use in many places around NHS.
Toiletries- feminine care products, toothbrushes/paste, deodorant.
Working technology- phone charging cables, power strips, extension cords
Clothing in good condition- t-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, cozy blankets
We also have a request for a working vacuum and electric tea kettle. If you have either of those items in working condition to donate please contact the pto to coordinate at [email protected]
This is going to be so much fun! All virtual, all fun for a great cause. All ages welcome - sign up your team today!
Thank a Northampton teacher or staff member with a donation to the Northampton Education Foundation!
This holiday season, you can give your child’s teachers mugs, gift cards, or cookies—or you can give them a gift that will enrich their teaching, and that of all of their colleagues in the Northampton schools.
Your gift, in the name of a teacher, principal, or any staff member, will go to NEF’s Small Grants Program. This fund provides grants for teachers to create innovative projects, events, or opportunities that enhance student learning, professional development, and collaboration.
This year, NEF has funded projects in every school in the district. They include the Family Reading and Math Collaboration at Leeds, a Performance Project theater residency at NHS, and NHS Marching Band performances at JFK Middle School. Last year, we funded nearly $30,000 in grant projects. Please donate to NEF so we can say YES to more teachers in the future!
The teacher you honor will receive a letter acknowledging your generous gesture, without revealing the amount. Gifts of any amount are welcome!
