Our 9am 3’s completed their study of the life cycle of a butterfly today. These little scientists had fun watching the painted ladies fly away 🦋

Always one if my favorite field trips with the fours and today didn’t disappoint! ☀️

The Terrific Twos classes had a blast during their “messy play” days this week! Painting without paintbrushes, shaving cream, drip paintings, water table, making a pet rock…It was such a fun sensory experience and the clean up wasn’t even too bad for Mrs. O! 😉. These little ones are ready to graduate on to the 3s classes next year!

🐢🐸🪳The Young Fives learned so much during our Pond Study at the Kensington Nature Center! 🐍🪱🐟

⚾️⚾️ Mrs. Bonsall taught the Young 5s the basics of tee ball today at Ford Field. We ran the bases, hit with the tee, and learned how to throw. Great afternoon!⚾️⚾️

The Terrific Twos had a great time learning about butterflies this week! Hands on learning and play time is the best!

BIG day for our Half Day 4’s!! These clever children completed their Alphabet Books! 🌟

Our curriculum is designed to introduce each letter and its sound individually, focusing on a new letter each week. We write it ✏️, hear it 👂, and apply it 🎨. We have FANTASTIC letter detectives at NPP!

Well done, precious ones! 💪🏼 You make us proud! 🏅

Look at some of our future students just hanging out! Babies under 6 months old and in a carrier or held (non-walkers and non-crawlers!!) can join their big bro or sis for the occasional Terrific Twos class!

This is why I love teaching at NPP. We are completely focused on each individual child, recognizing that God knits each precious one together in an extremely special and unique way.

We meet every child where they are, and it is our greatest joy to watch and celebrate as each child embraces the safety of their school family so that confidence soars! ❤️

GYM! We have the most MAGNIFICENT gym! We climb, we kick, we throw, we run AND we learn about taking turns, winning and losing graciously, and using intention when walking while balancing a ping pong ball on a spoon. Teamwork makes the dream work in gym, especially with our scooters, which are a fan favorite.

Half Day Fours chased the sunshine yesterday as we put on our detective hats and completed our “Spring Scavenger Hunt”. We observed lots of new growth, saw many critters both on the ground and in the air, spun a GIANT rock, watched the water in the stream flow, and even counted how long it took a stick to move from one side of the bridge to the other. And then we played!

These precious children walked safely, practiced all their best manners as we greeted community members, and even found our letter of the week “X” all over Northville!

Such a happy day! 🥰

The Terrific 2s enjoyed a visit to our STEM room today! So much to explore!

Hopping into Easter with the 9:15 4’s this week 🐇

A little leprechaun snuck into the Terrific 2s classroom and put out so many things that were green for St. Patrick’s Day!

📚The Young 5s didn’t have a Mystery Reader today, so we hiked to a Mystery Spot for our afternoon story… the gazebo In Mill Race! We also made a volcano erupt in honor of V Week!🌋

🍎✈️🎨💯The Young 5s went to the Northville Art House and had a paper airplane race during Aa Week! We also celebrated our 100th Day of School on Friday!🍎✈️🎨💯
