Looking to re-home some books, CDs and DVDs? The Nutley Library is accepting donations for its Book Sale on Saturday 10/19, Monday 10/21, and Tuesday 10/22. The Sale dates are Thursday through Saturday, 10/24-26.

If you’re dropping off donations tomorrow, you can enter at 8:45. Sorting items into general categories (i.e. “baby boy” or “ladies shoes”) will help us put out items and start the shopping as quickly as possible!

It’s almost here! Just a couple of days left until our Fall Swap. We’re looking for clothing for all ages, costumes, and sports equipment. It should be in good, useable condition! We’ll be open for swapping from 9-11 AM on Saturday — if you’re donating items, you can come in at 8:45 to put your items out on tables and start browsing!

The Fall Swap is coming! Saturday, September 21, from 9-11 AM at Yantacaw School. Consider this your excuse to finally clean out that closet, dresser drawer, Rubbermaid tub... Bring any clothing, costumes or sports items you’re no longer using - if you’re donating, you get to come in at 8:45! 👍

It never fails - the third day of school and someone’s complaining that his practically brand new sneakers are too small. If you’ve got clothes or shoes that aren’t fitting anyone anymore, or sports equipment or costumes you won’t be using, please consider bringing them to the swap!

If you're donating items, please bring them at 8:45, doors open at 9 for the general public. You don't have to be part of a Yantacaw family or even a Nutley resident -- all are welcome to help us reuse and recycle!

Our Spring Swap is done! Thanks to all who donated awesome stuff, and to all our shoppers who took most of it home! Extra special thanks to our helpers who set up and took down the tables, we couldn’t do it without you! Any leftover items will be donated to the Cub Scouts, the Nutley Family Service Bureau, and Vietnam Vets. See you in the fall!!

Please let us know if you have trouble making it during that time. We discourage folks from bringing donations after the “shopping” has already begun, since we’ve seen that those items have less of a chance of finding a new home.

It's so beautiful out! I'm pulling out the summer clothes today and putting aside things that no longer fit. Someone will hit the jackpot at the Swap! Can't wait to see what everyone else is sharing!

The Swap is in less than two weeks! Drop off is Friday night, May 10, from 6:30-8:30 in the Yantacaw School gym. You don't need to be a Yantacaw family or even live in Nutley to donate and/or shop -- tell your friends and family!!

The 12th Annual Yantacaw Family Swap is just one month away - Saturday May 11! It’s your chance to recycle and give your unused items to someone who can use them - and maybe choose some cool stuff for yourself as well!
We’re looking for toys, books, dvds, small household/decorative items, sports equipment, and clothes and shoes for all ages. We need you to bring all your items in good, useable condition (no stained/ripped clothes, no broken toys, no missing parts, etc.)
Drop-off will be in the Yantacaw School Gym, Friday, May 10 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, and we'll be open for swapping/shopping on Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 to 11:30. As always, all items are free -- just give them a good home and keep them out of the landfill!

Another local Swap! This one is in Montclair at the Hillside School, with donation drop off Friday evening 2/8, and swapping Saturday morning 2/9.

For all of you “Konmari” fans, the Yantacaw Swap is a great place to bring any good condition, useable items that no longer “spark joy” for you! Our big Spring Swap is coming on May 11 (drop off night May 10). I’ve already got three big bags of clothes, books and toys to bring!

My son is deciding on a Halloween costume this week. Right now it’s between Harry Potter and an octopus. While I’m waiting for his decision I’m pulling out a few of his outgrown costumes to bring to the Swap on Saturday, 9/22. It’s at Yantacaw School between 9-11 AM - please come at 8:45 if you’re bringing donations though! All are welcome!

Getting ready for the next Yantacaw Swap on Sept. 22! My family is spending the last day before school starts sorting out our closets! I've found two large bags of clothes that no longer fit my sons, and a few items from me and my husband as well. Plus I've got a bunch of soccer and baseball cleats and at least one costume. Can't wait to see what everyone else is bringing!

Thanks to all of the people who made this Swap one of the most successful yet! We had so many generous donations, and many many happy shoppers! The leftover clothing, blankets and soft toys went to the Cub Scouts Pack 142 clothing drive, and the remaining items were picked up by the Vietnam Veterans truck. Look for our clothing/sports/costume swap in September!

We have several baby items still here - swing, two pack and plays, doorway jumper, large toys. If you’re interested or know a daycare or school who could use them, we’re here till 11:30ish.

Still lots of good stuff to choose from! We’re here until 11:30 AM!

In just 24 hours we’ll be setting up the gym for this year’s Swap! Take one last look at our flier and see if you have anything to donate - we’ll be there from 6:30-8 for you to drop it off.

A few times this week I’ve been asked if we take adult clothes as well as children’s - the answer is YES! We accept clothing and shoes for all ages, as long as they’re in good, wearable condition (no stains, holes or rips). Drop off your items in two days, Friday 5/11 between 6:30-8 PM in the Yantacaw School gym.
