Recently, two of Mrs. Vahle's 4th graders received the Do The Right Thing award from the St. Louis non-profit organization of the same name.
Eva was nominated for her patience and acceptance of others, demonstrating this through her actions of assisting a classmate and a genuine love of helping others.
Kason was nominated for his diligence and bravery. While outside, he noticed an unfamiliar adult on the playground and immediately reported it to his teacher. It luckily turned out to be a newly hired custodian for our building, but we appreciate how he sprang into action to help keep his classmates safe.
Way to go, Eva and Kason!! We are proud of you!!

What a great experience for our kids tonight singing 🎶 God Bless America 🇺🇸 before the Cardinals game ⚾️. They did a wonderful job and then had a great time rooting 👏 for their team.

There were some amazing performances by our 5th graders tonight during the Live Wax Museum!! We are so proud of the dedication they’ve shown over the past several weeks researching and then preparing for their “roles.”
‘Kudos’ to Mrs. Cutter, Mrs Bohnenstiehl, Mrs. Goewert, Mrs. Neighbors and Mrs. Bell for the guidance and encouragement they showed their students during this whole process.

What an amazing turnout this morning for Donuts with 'Dad.' It was an incredible way for some of our students to start their day.

A special “Thank you” goes out to our wonderful PTO for providing Moye teachers and staff a fabulous potato bar dinner plus desserts last night during conferences. It really hit the spot!!!

Let's help out the Special Olympics and have a good ol' fashioned pajama day at school Wednesday.
If your student wants to participate, send $1 or whatever other amount you wish with him/her to school tomorrow or Wednesday. Again, all proceeds will be donated to the Special Olympics.

Thanks to Det. Callahan and the newest employee at O'Fallon Public Safety building, Jujube, for their recent visit to first grade. Our students loved getting to know both of you.

Check out Mrs. Robitaille's 2nd graders' Get Smart With Art projects. Our students really have fun when they have these opportunities. GSWA is always accepting volunteers to go into classrooms to lead these projects, so if you are interested in helping, please message us.

What a fantastic visit we had yesterday with Louie, the St. Louis Blues' mascot. He visited three classroom that earned a visit through their completion of a reading program. Louie was then kind enough to walk the halls of Moye where the rest of our students were standing by to greet him. Chants of "Louie! Louie! Louie!" filled the hallways.

Some of our students had a fantastic visit with the wonderful residents at Cambridge House this morning, where reading, playing games and fellowship was the focus.
