Luis Angel Arroyo needed his own angel, someone in his corner who believed in him. He found more than one at Palm Beach State College and truly transformed his life. Beyond thankful, Arroyo has been empowering young people since graduating from PBSC in 2019 with his Associate in Science degree and in 2022 with his Bachelor of Science degree, both in Human Services. Now pursuing a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University, he operates Angels Boxing Therapy, providing guidance through a unique counseling model. Through wide smiles and heartfelt tears, he told us his story, in his words and in his voice—the voice of angel.

Samantha is a child that I meet at my gym. She always impresses me with her determination not to let her inner battles stop her from coming to put on some boxing gloves and express her choice to not give up on a fight that is beyond her control and her parent's control. She can demonstrate so much resilience to me and others with her beautiful smile and attitude of knowing everything will be alright. However, Sam is now facing her most challenging opponent. On 11/3/22, after many visits to the doctor for dizziness and untraceable chronic headache. The doctors are requesting a Brain MRI to find a more medical treatment that can assist Sam in living a healthy childhood. Unfortunately, the medical procedure is not covered under medical cost, and the family needs assistance. With the family's consent, I, Angel, am asking everyone who reads this and feels moved by God to please reach out to me to cover MRI and other medical costs. Angels Boxing Therapy

Last night the Lord gave me the opportunity to speak to a 15 year youth that stated he is having a bad day. I stop what I was doing and went to my car to bring back with me a new pair of Boxing Gloves , Boxing wraps, Boxing Lego fitted shirt, and a bookbag. He stated " I been praying for a new pair of gloves". I did some mitt work woth him and planted , , .
