Ollin. Movimiento. Movement.
One of the 20 day signs of the Mexica/Aztec count of days representing movement and change. One of the ways it manifests in nature is in an earthquake. Earthquakes happen all the time and are necessary in the cycles of nature. Often times, they are so small that we don't even feel them, while sometimes they are big and can be destructive and scary.
I chose the Ollin as a symbol that represents my practice because to me it represents the process of healing. What change needs to happen for us to heal? What movement is needed for us to heal? What earthquake (big or small) needs to occur within in order to heal and find balance.
Fun fact: I was born on a day Ollin.
