Rough Edges (IMDB / Trailer) by auteur Charles Lyons is coming to The San Francisco Indie Film Fest’s opening night on Thursday, February 2nd, 8:45 pm at The Roxie Theater (3125 16th St, SF), with an afterparty at Cat Club. A limited number of tickets are available.

Live @ The Plaza (a Taps gig) screened “Rough Edges” at the Montclair wine bar in 2021. Then it was accepted to the Cinequest San Jose film festival and premiered there in August, 2022. Now the film will have an encore Bay Area screening at the SF Indie Film Festival this week.

For this author Rough Edges is a compelling drama and love story that also happens to be a melancholy love letter to Bernal Heights.
