Let’s celebrate the harvest moon! 🌝

Today’s full moon is also called “Potato Harvest Moon” (芋名月) because it’s sweet potato season! 🍠🍠🍠

We are serving “Hot n’ Candido Sweet Potato” a twist on the classic Japanese snack “daigaku imo” 🧑🏻‍🎓👨🏽‍🎓🥔

Daigaku imo literally means university potato, because this was a popular dish for university students in Japan since the early 1900s. Why? Because it’s cheap and filling! ✌🏼

We’ve taken this dish and added a spicy kick and also played around with the name. Why is it called Candido sweet potatoes? Because we love Candido! You’ve probably seen him at the restaurant frying your favorite chicken! 🔥

Come get some sweet potato to celebrate the harvest, and don’t forget to look at the beautiful moon tonight! 🌝
