COMMUNITY WIN: We defended our communities from a corporate takeover! We worked arm-in-arm with labor and over 300 social justice organizations across California to protect over $3 BILLION in resources for our schools and communities.
Wealthy corporations and billionaires from Big Oil and Real Estate used the California Business Roundtable to illegally rig the rules to get themselves more power and avoid paying what they owe in taxes.
Our coalition representing working-Californians will take the fight to the polls this November to make voters' voices heard and win more affordable housing, safe communities and ensure everyone has clean air and water.
Workers across California are fighting against greedy corporations who don’t care about fair pay, access to benefits, and safe working conditions. California can ensure that workers have a voice by passing SB 299 and ensuring that 4.7 million unregistered but eligible voters have access to the ballot automatically.
Historically, wealthy corporations and employers have kept workers from accessing the ballot by imposing barriers to voter registration. They don’t want working class communities of color to be enfranchised to vote for better working conditions. We must for workers’ rights!

The rent is too high in California. One-third of renters spend over 50% of their income on rent. Despite being 44% of California’s population, renters make up less than one-third of regular voters. Meanwhile, billionaire developers pour millions of dollars into making sure policies benefit landlords.
We need to reclaim our democracy and ensure that California renters can vote for affordable housing, strong eviction protections, and tenant rights! Senate Bill 299 updates our state’s voter registration system to automatically register 4.7 million Californians.

If our elected officials truly care about leading the nation on racial justice issues, we must pass Senate Bill 299 and enfranchise 4.7 MILLION people—primarily from working class Black, Latinx, and Asian American communities—who are eligible to vote but are not registered.
Visit bit.ly/SB299-assembly-elections to urge your Assembly Elections Committee member to vote support SB 299 and .
Passing SB 299 means:
✍ Addressing racist voter suppression in California
🗳 More accurate voter rolls and increased efficiency of our government agencies
🌤 A Californian electorate that truly reflects the diversity of our state
✅ A voter registration system that reflects California's democratic values

California’s current voter registration policies are a result of our state’s racist history—they maintain white, wealthy people in power and suppress the voice and vote of working class communities of color.
It’s time to by passing Senate Bill 299. Visit bit.ly/SB299-assembly-elections to urge your Assembly Elections Committee member to vote .
☀️ California has 4.7+ million eligible BUT UNREGISTERED voters who are primarily working-class people of color. Active voters in our state skew whiter and wealthier than California’s actual population.
✊🏽 SB299 is our chance to fix the voter registration system created to exclude us from political power. Let’s reclaim our democracy to pass policies that will keep our neighbors housed, workers protected, and our air and water clean.

🚨 Cuts hurt Californians who are aging without a safety net! 🚨
Undocumented communities should be able to access IHSS so that they too can thrive in their communities. Governor Newsom just created a Master Plan on Aging and an Equity Plan. How can home care for undocumented immigrants not be a priority for our wealthy state?
Access to IHSS is foundational to my ability to age and thrive in my community. The governor's exclusion of undocumented Californians goes against the spirit of the Master Plan on Aging and a healthy California.
