Romano beans have arrived at Market Hall Produce. These long, broad and flat Italian beans come into season in the late summer. Their sweet flavor can be enjoyed raw or even pickled to best enjoy their snappy crunch, but we love them most cooked, especially blistered or charred on the grill for an easy side dish or slowly braised with tomatoes.

Glad to see that our passion for great charcuterie, cheese and pasta is just as strong as it was over 35 years ago.

Dry farmed, California-grown Early Girl tomatoes are here at Market Hall Produce! Dry farming is a sustainable agricultural technique in which farmers stop watering established plants so they find water deep in the soil and exert more energy producing fruit. Dry farmed tomatoes are juicier and have a more intense, concentrated flavor. It’s best to let these tomatoes shine raw, so dice them into fresh salsas, stack them in a BLT or enjoy sliced with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and sea salt.
We’re excited to introduce you to a new Market Hall Bakery treat: Financiers! As the story goes, these classic French tea cakes originated in the 19th century at a Parisian bakery located near the stock exchange. The pastry chef who created them baked them in small rectangular molds to resemble little gold bars. Our version of the classic French tea cakes are made with our gluten-free brown butter almond cake with the addition of fresh fruit and/or nuts. Stop in to try our Raspberry Pistachio Financier or Assorted Fruit Financier.
