New Schedule for Yoga classes for this January
H**e Fitness is a place where you hunt out every positional inefficiency, poor mechanical tendency, and default or compensatory movement pattern.
Where else can you safely expose your movement and tissue dysfunctions?
Our center is a controlled environment in which you can safely and systematically layer skill progressions while simultaneously addressing mechanical and range-of-motion issues.
Attention all Yoga classes will be rescheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays to 5:30 pm till 6:30 pm until the end of December.

Today came to H**e Fitness and that is what I saw on the Wall. This is H**e!
So who is H**e and why is my center called H**e Fitness?
Who would know that Elmo wants to exercise and needs a personal trainer?
Spread the news about upcoming YOGA classes, Starting September 5th!
Think about that, if we are involved in a specific sport or discipline, movement variability is sometimes intentionally limited. To be good in that sport you need to perfect and optimize your movement and as a result, certain categories of movement that are not specific to the sport/discipline are rarely trained. The problem with rarely training certain areas or muscles is that:
- It teaches the body that they are no longer βnecessaryβ and so, the body locks down involved areas in an effort to limit movement and conserve energy, and consequently,
- these movements as well as the muscles become weak and are no longer accessible and as a result, this creates areas of instability.
Whether itβs planes of movement, bracing strategies, open kinetic chain vs closed kinetic chain, isolated vs compound, emphasis is always on what WE CONSISTENTLY DO or NEED to DO. But remember that while we become good at what we consistently do, we become maladapted to what we consistently DONβT do.
It's not about strength training. It's about improving your quality of life!
