Photo can be taken any time before this challenge and posted to Facebook between 9am and 10am on 9/20. All community members are welcome to participate. We need your help! Please join us Saturday, September 10th to help raise funds for the Marion County 4-H Poultry Judging, Horticulture Judging, and Meat Judging Teams to send them to Nationals!

WiseGuys Pizzeria has generously offered to team up with us to help to raise the funds that these three teams need. Let's show these teams our support! I know they are working hard to represent our county and our state at the National Competitions!

Bring the entire family out for an amazing meal and 20% of your check will be donated to the Marion County 4-H Judging Teams.
You can Dine in or Carry out. All you have to do is mention "4-H" and they will know to donate 20% of your check directly to the teams. I cannot think of a better fundraising idea, enjoy a meal with your family while helping the youth of Marion County.

The Judging team members will all be there to thank you in person for your support.

The Florida State Champion Poultry Judging team from Marion Country will be attending the Ocala Breeders Feed & Supply 40th Anniversary Sale this Saturday, August 27th, at their HWY 27 Location in Ocala from 8 am-1 pm. Come on out and support the team and help them raise funds to send the team to the National Poultry Judging Contest in Louisville KY, where they will represent Marion County and The State of Florida.
They will be demonstrating what it is they do on the poultry judging team, inviting new members to join the team and they will be holding a donation for a chance to win a huge Chicken feed and supply gift basket.
Come out for a fun-filled day, take advantage of some amazing sales, enjoy live music and food, and support your local 4-H!

I will never understand why some things happen. One of our members was called home too soon for us to possibly understand why. 💔
Feeling so sad and heartbroken. Thinking of all the times spent with the Buttermore Family over the years and the memories we made together. The friendships we built and will treasure always. Hug your children, cherish your friends and families. Let those you love know you love them.

The Buttermore Family joined our 4-H family years ago when the kids were pretty young. We all became fast friends and 4-H family. We have so many amazing memories of times spent together growing up in 4-H.
Years spent making memories at the youth fair, 4-H meetings, shooting events, community service projects, dances, award nights, Christmas parties, Halloween Parties, trick or treating, father daughter dances, judging events, mom and daughter weekly Starbucks dates, slime making get togethers, fundraiser events, puppy obedience lessons, movie nights and so much more.
We shared in each other’s joys and sorrows, we celebrated each other’s successes. We grew up together. We will forever hold onto those precious memories.
Rachel you were so loved. You touched us all with your contagious smile and big heart. We will cherish the memories of all the times spent together. You will be fondly remembered and never forgotten.💚🍀

Loved every crazy minute of the Derby Day Jackpot Show! The organizers and volunteers did an amazing job with the organization of a show of this size.
The weekends spent with our 4-H club showing are some of my most favorite weekends. I just love the kiddos in our club. I wish we had been more diligent about getting pictures but we were so focused on the cows and the memories being made we forgot to take any candids. So if anyone from our club has any they would like to share please post on our page.
I love how our show family is growing. All the kids had an amazing show. Briana, Roberto, Chesney, Frank, Brook, Lydia, Kaylee, Braina, and Bella, who jumped in to help, all worked so well together to pull off a great weekend of showing cattle. I love looking over and seeing our trailers all lined up side by side and the kids all working hard and having fun supporting each other as friends and as a club. Congratulations to Byrnleigh and Frank on their first cattle show you two looked great in the ring and made it look like you have been showing for years. There isn't too much time for play but just knowing that they are all there for each other is a pretty amazing thing.
Walter, Evelyn, Brook, and Aria all stepped up to help at the raffle table and that was a huge help!! A great big shout out to the Sakuta Family for overseeing the raffle, and the Doney Family for the donation of the grooming chute. The Zubieta Family for hauling the club cows as well as Lydias. I just love our show family and how well we all work together.
This leader is beyond proud of the work ethic that our club kids display. How they all selflessly jump in and help each other out. I am loving the memories being made and the time spent together. Already looking forward to the next Cow show with this show crew.

I am feeling so incredibly proud and thankful!! The Caprine 4-H club collected enough donations to fill 5 trucks to deliver to the Patriot Group drop off and we helped load all of it into the back of the tractor trailer truck headed to Houston! Three truck loads of water, an entire pallet of water , trash bags, bags and bags of clothes, food, toys, over 100 toothbrushes and at least 50 tubes of toothpaste. Soap, medical supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, cases of diapers, wipes, towels, boots, jeans, cat feed , dog feed , horse feed, tools, blankets, towels and so much more!! What an amazing 4-H club we have. I am so proud to be a part of this group of amazing kids and their parents!!
Thank you for all of your hard work!! The truck leaves in the morning headed to Houston!! I am incredibly proud of each of you!🍀💚

Caprine 4-H club would like to ask for your help and support given this last weeks Hurricane affecting so many people in Houston. So many Houston area 4-Hers, their families, their clubs, their communities, and their project animals and livestock have been affected by this. We would like to show them our support.
We have teamed up with the Patriot Group , a prior club member of ours, who has a tractor trailer that they are going to fill up.
The Patriot group is paying for all the fuel , the truck, and the driver to get there all we need to do is help fill it!!!
Houston need these supplies as soon as we can get them there. The driver is available to leave on Monday so we have to work fast.
Please join us this weekend and help get the word out and start collecting supplies to send. The Caprine 4-H members will meet to collect all donations Sunday night at the 4-H office on Jacksonville road Ocala from 4-6. If you can not make it on Sunday but would still like to donate please comment below and we will come pick up your donation.
Get the word out through Facebook that the Caprine 4-H club of Marion County is collecting supplies to be delivered to Houston this week. Please ask your families, friends, churches, 4-H clubs , and local business to help us fill the tractor trailer to show our support!!
Every single donation counts. Even if you can donate a case of water anything at all will be appreciated.
The Patriot Group went to Louisiana when they were hit. It is a constitutional, family oriented group that believes in helping Americans in need. The supplies are as listed by officials in Texas.
