Hurry on out to the Ocala Public Library! The Friends of the Library April Book Sale is in progress! Over 200 people already! All funds raised support four local libraries ( Ocala, Ft McCoy, Reddick and Sankofa). We are open till 2:00!

You don't want to miss our upcoming Book Sale! Open Friday April 5th for our FOL members and Saturday April 6th for the public. Stock up for spring, with Paperbacks at 25 cents and Hardcovers at 50 cents.

The FOL will be hosting an upcoming book sale at the Ocala public library April 5th 1:30 - 3:30 (members only) and April 6th 10:00 am- 2:00(open to public).
We are in need of fiction, non fiction as well as current magazines (ex: Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Real Simple, Good Housekeeping, Consumer Reports, Martha Stewart, Oprah, Vanity Fair, House Beautiful, Money, Car and Driver, The New Yorker, etc.)
All book donations can be dropped off at our book market located in the Ocala Public Library during our regular business hours.

We are also in need of volunteers to work the book sale. If you can work one of the shifts listed below, please call the FOL Book Store at 352-368-4590 to sign up. Please make sure you give your full name, phone number and what shift you would like.

Shifts available;

Friday 4/5 9:00am – 1:00. Volunteers set up. Lunch will be served. 30 volunteers are needed.
Friday 4/5 1:30 – 3:30 Friends members shop. 6-8 volunteers are needed
Saturday 4/6 10:00am – 12:00 General Public shop. 8 - 10 volunteers are needed
Saturday 4/6. 12:00 – 2:00 General public shop. 6-8 volunteers are needed
Saturday 4/6 2:00 - 3:00 Pack up. We need 20+ volunteers

All funds raised by the FOL Bookstore and Book Sale are used to support the needs and programs at the Ocala, Ft. McCoy, Reddick, and Sankofa library branches.
