Apparently these demo guys are slow rolling....going to go wuss it out and see what's up with their time frame! Might have to meet tomorrow for a beer!! Keep you all posted!!

Just wanted to keep everyone updated on the Tavern demo.... they started working on the Seascape street side today and mostly likely will bring the TAVERN down tomorrow between 8-4!! If anyone would like to join us we are going to go up and have one last beer with the old girl around 11ish!! They can destroy our house but they will never destroy our mindset!!

Don't forget to vote tomorrow and please come see us at the pit&pub tomorrow night after 10pm for $2 beers and 1/2 price chicken entrees!!!

The Tavern Crew would like to thank everyone for coming in tonight from near and far to help us celebrate the life and times of our humble gathering place!! We love you all and the fact that you have enjoyed your time hanging with us enough to come back in one last time to pay you're respect means the world to us!! Tonight was Peppers Taverns last night open to the public but because Miss Jeannie most certainly is a gluten for punishment she will open for one last dayshift!! So if you missed the mayhem and still would like to say goodbye.... Please roll threw!! I think she said she will open from 12-7 or until everything is gone!! Anything and everything only $2 bucks!! Thanks for all the years of love and support! We will miss you all, well maybe not all!

Tonight is the night..... We Traded a bunch of random beers in for a boat load of natty lights and we still have plenty of liqueur to sell!!!!!!! $2 natty boh, pabst and of course natty light!! Everything and anything else....$3!!! Phantom limbs and the Hooplas are ready to bring down the house!! Come join us and celebrate the life and death of Peppers Tavern!!

Agh, it's just rain!!! I don't think the heavy stuff is gonna come down for a while now.... Get a little wet and help drink us dry!!! Lots of specials for last dayshift!! $3 orange bombs,sambucas,wild turkey honeys,$2 beer specials!!sirachi ace, Stella, Stella cidre and anything else we have a boat load of!! Basically we need to get rid of this booze in the next couple of days and we need your help!! Be safe out there and see you soon we hope!!

Ok so the verdict is in.... And the papers have been signed! The SeaScape hotel will be torn down mid October and us along with it!! We have till October 1st or 2nd to vacate the property! We will not be having a closing party this time because of all the times this project got pushed back last year! We didn't like being the bar that cried wolf but we were only going on what info the hotel was giving us! We were very fortunate to get another season out of this dingy basement we've all called home for so long!! And we thank all of you who helped show support for us in our final months and days!! This week will kinda be a celebration of life for Peppers Tavern or Tavern by the Sea, depending on how long you've been hanging here!! A drunken Tavern wake if you will!! We are open till the end of the week or until we run out of booze!!Tonight is the last Tavern Tuesday with Rob Cee and we have the Hooplas and the Phantom limbs playing on Friday, not sure if we'll have anything left after that but please feel free to come by any day or night this week for a final farewell!! Tonight As I watched one of my favorite song writers and front men of all time play the Tavern,I have to admit I was a bit amazed and slightly starstruck!!I don't fan out very often, but Joe Jack and the Dead Milkmen helped shape my humor and outlook on life as a youth and even still to this day!!! If life ever gets too serious.... Big Lizard In My Backyard is one of my go to albums when I need to put a stupid smile back on my face!! Thank you to Joe Jack,Sherwin and Mirrors and Wires and everyone who came out to support our tireless effort to provide an environment and venue for those of us unwilling to settle for the normal cooperate bu****it that seems to be taking over the world these days!! So if you haven't already heard by now.... The rumors are true! The demolishion of the Seascape Hotel has been put on hold ( at least for now) and we have been granted another summer to open up Peppers Tavern!!! We are shooting for March 10th if everything goes as planned!! We hope you are as stoked as we are about the news and look forward to seeing everyone real soon!!
